The prospect of them tearing out Werewolf seems incredibly far-fetched. Maybe they could relocate it and make this the indoor ride behind Unchained, but even that feels silly. This was built as a permanent attraction. Grand opened a year ago. I don’t like its impact on immersion either, but there feel like several less drastic measures they could take to theme up the attraction over time without moving it.
For a start, (1) figure out a method to remove the nets encasing the layout. Maybe blue sky, but potentially create covered walkways beneath ride track that passes over guest areas (or in a perfect world, themed “covered bridges” the carriages are “crossing” through) to limit risk of loose articles impacting guests but improve site lines. (2) Figure out a way to theme up the fencing surrounding the coaster perimeter, potentially wooden “stakes” to protect the Roma against the beasts in the forest rather than basic nets. (3) Maybe even adjust the ending that seems to let most folks down.
Building a coaster next door feels more likely, but still not probable (purely my own conjecture, no knowledge). Interesting that folks seemed pretty opposed to the idea adding a coaster to Ministry at first blush but more welcoming of one within a land that houses an existing coaster…
