I really enjoyed those two mazes. But i am selfishly happy that Cinema Slasher wasn’t on the chopping block as that is one of my favourite haunted houses i have ever done

I thought they might keep Chilling Chambers as an anthology and keep changing it up, but I have to admit the nostalgia lost a bit of it's lustre in year 2.

Interesting change-up in Carnevil with a unifying theme and ringleader. The performers are always amazing there and this pluses it imo.

I guess that leaves Room 13 and Cinema Slasher as the oldest mazes in 2028.

They mentioned Daniel Miller came up with a maze that was a mile long. That would be an interesting stat, how long the mazes are in terms of walking distance.

The mile long maze is likely the Mystery Lodge location, those are always abnormally long.

I think their longest maze before was the OG Dominion of the Dead on the Boardwalk. I never got to go through it myself, but I think I heard something about it being the longest maze in KSF history. That and the OG Carnival of Carnivous Clowns.

Room 13 should’ve been sunsetted over Origins.

I will miss Origins, and cursed Catawaumpus. They better do a new maze with the Witch again, the event is always better when she has a house.

From what I have heard, whatever the theme of the Mystery Lodge maze, the undertaking there is large enough and requiring so much work that they have shortened hours on their various live entertainment offerings which use the space back there for breaks so that the crews can work on the maze

Does that mean it’s the mile long maze?

Not necessarily

But the former Mesmer location looks no larger than usual, so those hallways would have to be REAL TIGHT to make that location stretch a mile

Just a few other things to note, they very briefly teased the themes of the two new mazes and the Boulet Brothers will be back for Nightmares Revealed. I think it's likely that they will have some kind of show.

Midsummer was a ton of fun - can't wait for next year in Anaheim!
