Not to mention the fact they were both featured last year. Lots of cost savings there.

I say just fully repeat everything and pour the costs savings elsewhere. Bring back Grandpa Wolfman!

Camera may be tricking but it seems since today, they might finally be nearing that of the surface road in-between this and Mummy.

Shouldn't take into effect whatsoever for HHN 2025, but it will be more important for stuff down the road.

This facade is beautiful. I’m not even a Terrifier fan but this made me so much more hyped for the house

I dunno guys, it could be anything.

In all seriousness, holy crap this is gorgeous and captivating. The level of quality with the artwork itself and how much it pops in color is absolutely fantastic.

Remember last year when you all swore Dead Exposure was Fallout and Insidious was Nightmare on Elm Street? Cut the crap.

I honestly have never seen people who tried to compare Dead Exposure to Fallout (or atleast I never entertained the thought. Taking with a few others, there was only really one person who might've done that, and that was Mondo/Five Fires, and I don't think anyone else had thought of that). Insidious to Nightmare though, yeah I'll take that L; and I'll take it in stride.

Hell, talking back with a few friends that I shoot the shot with, I apparently wondered at first if Dead Exposure was Nightmare because of the initial positioning. I'm not the brightest bulb in the shed, Brian :sob: :nervous:.

I wonder if we'll see lights embedded into all of the eyes of the "Characters" on the mural. In the film I think it's just the Clown that gets it, but I kind of hope they do a AHN trick; where they could have the creatures eyes flash as if audio distorts alongside the sight.

I thought the same of Urban Inferno too at least at first, considering how when Murdy researched for Dead Exposure; there was elements that was from the treatment that he talked about--that made it seem specifically pointing to that. The Quonset Hut like element in particular comes to mind real quick as a sticking point in early speculation (even in spite of others shooting it down as there were other elements that was weak sauce).

I am glad to take the L on it though--because I think Dead Exposure at the end was a fun house that made the speculation of it's facade all the more fun. Especially with how quirky and weird it's facade is in comparison to all of the other facades they've done.

Pivoting back to Terrifier, something I notice is how much more defined the color-shading is in comparison to that of the film. While stunning in the film, it feels oddly a tiny bit more "stylized" and more bright in comparison.

Makes me wonder what they'll do around the facade to make it look dated and abandoned.

I'm using "you" in the community sense. This fandom has a habit of putting the cart before the horse, and taking the smallest grain of info and running it into the ground. Hell, a good, recent example is Murdy confirming this week there's a Monsters break, something those who have been connected have been saying for the longest time this spec season, and you still have a couple of people doubting it. The point is that the mods have to ensure we include some "checks and balances" in the spec, as the information can, and has, gotten out of hand. I'm not going to apologize for saying "don't jump to conclusions," based on how carried away some of the community can get.

And if you think that warrants a "Gotcha" attempt (and not the first one, either), that says more about y'all.

Oh ok gotcha. I thought you meant us specifically I was like “what?” Lmao but yeah it was just that guy I don’t think anyone else in here believed that. To the monster break thing though I’m honestly glad it’s happening and I really hope the Latin originals take a break next year. I hate saying that as a latino but they’re starting to get a little long in the tooth. I wouldn’t have an issue if we had more than 2 originals a year but it really feels like it’s just taking up a slot that could be used for some unique ideas. Like how have we not gotten a Hollywood harry house yet. That character debuted almost a decade ago

I remember in 2017 when the Insidious house was getting built in the JP extended queue how there were some people trying to come up with some wild conspiracy theory that It was happening in the JP queue and they built a facade of the Insidious house as a decoy to take down when they announced It only to replace it with the Neibolt house to keep it top secret. The community does need to chill sometimes lol

After 15 years of speculation and going to HHN I’m glad I got bigger things to worry about lol I’m at a point to where I have preferences as to what I want like all of use, but we’ll get what we get. It’ll be announced eventually.

The Devils Den thing didn't even happen until 2019. It seems like the 2017 community pulled an early reverse 'Devils Den 3D' on themselves. Personally, I never even thought that the Insidious facade would end up being torn down. I do remember all the talk about Conjuring that year and the utter dissapointment I felt when I heard it had been scrapped for the year. Still wish it had happened but oh well.

Oh my god I remember that. That was my first year speculating.

For context, the facade was straight-up finished for a while, and the forum was going nuts trying to figure it out. Finally someone discovered it in the background of an episode of (I believe) a Blumhouse filmmaking reality show. Then a couple more weeks of figuring out what the hell that meant until the trailer for Insidious 4 (which was super delayed, which delayed the announcement) finally came out showing the facade.
