Yeah to me it’s that’s so BS

Young justice is more mature then anything the DCU every made and they had much better and more interesting writing

Feels more like fans and especially Hollywood writers just bring defensive over the meh crap that was being passed as cinema

I know some will argue that X-men97 isn’t as great as the fans of think, but to me the show while not perfect is wildly entertaining, with mature themes, great action and character moments that make you cheer for your favored or new favorite characters

And didn't it happen in a way with Star Wars? where they removed all the book and comics stuff from the cannon and stuff? ( I know it's not the same but, having the movies be their own thing) not following anything that George Lucas had set up and written for the future .

it's like the studios or the managers think that the stuff outside the movies shouldn't be related to the comic stuff. ( which is ironic since it's literally the point)

WAY too young.

I really want an X-Men team mostly in their 30s.

She is, after all, the teenage redhead actress in the zeitgeist TV series.

So, yeah… that tracks.

I wonder if they are going for younger actors for this because they really wanted to do that young Avengers movie but got cold feet after the current reception of the MCU as of late and decided to pivot to X-Men in general for the post Secret Wars slate.

Going in this apparent direction lets those Disney execs have their cake and eat it too.

I can't imagine they were ever planning for Young Avengers to be the major pillar of the movies after SECRET WARS, though it's very possible they do want a young-skewing corner and see X-Men as a better vehicle for that.

I still think that would be a mistake. Now, a team that cuts across ages from young to old is something I could probably get behind. But I don't want a "kids" team.

Didn’t Deadpool and Wolverine show that Laura is alive and well in the MCU universe with Deadpool and the OG Wolverine or am I confusing that with the Fox!Universe?

I would loveeeee if they set up the Xmen

Like each movie in phase 6 of whatever the hell is after Doom's saga (i still hate this will have little to no real set up)

But if they can have storm in Black Panther 3....and so on that would be cool. Then they can have a big Xmen film that leads to hopefully an Avengers vs Xmen movie in the phase after the Xmen film comes out

I know that would just be three roles in an ensemble, but that's not a cast -- so far -- that would get me all that excited.

Dickinson, particularly, would be a weird, weird choice for Scott.

And I hope there are some members of the team who are seasoned adults.

Disney has two additional MCU films for 2027 post Secret Wars, July 23rd and Nov 5th. Considering how the X-Men are going to play a key part in SW, I wonder if Disney wants to further strike while the Iron is hot by having X-Men be the first major film after SW.

Figures! I'm always going to prefer the team being mostly the teachers rather than mostly the students.

At least they went older with the Fantastic Four.

I feel like that’s the exact opposite of what the fans actually want…
