Sorry, but I know nothing about Stranger Things. Was it a good or bad series finale?

Good show. Anti climactic ending....Just like Bourne.......They need a writer that can finish a story..............Terminator had that great ending,
Universal needs to track down that writer.

If anyone from Uni is lurking, I may have been that writer. Maybe? Just give me a call.

I think it would've been more impressive if a live actor came out as...
Newt Scamander, even if obscured. Seeing an actor on a screen is not as impressive as all the live performers we've been watching and his audio dubbing is god awful. Why are we hearing him breathe into the microphone??

I don't think attractions like Untrainable, Cirque, or Ministry are designed with that traditional "anticipation into payoff" structure. They all showcase their coolest effects by the halfway point of the experience, at latest; and in the case of Ministry, they show off the coolest part literally in the very first room of the queue. Because of that, I personally feel like the latter halves of those experiences drag a bit.

It's like having the Fantasmic Maleficent or Steamboat show up at the start of the show, or walking inside of the AT-AT hanger bay the moment you enter the queue. The "grand finale" is a pretty important aspect of experiences like these imo. There are certainly grand things to be seen here, but they show their hand far too quickly for it to feel satisfying, at least to me.

My biggest issue with Cirque is the story. It doesn't make sense! We are led to believe that they are advertising more magical creatures in their acts because of the suitcase, but in the pre-show we learn they literally JUST got the suitcase and during the show proper there is zero integration of creatures and magic acts. Advertising MORE creatures when in reality you don't know yet how you're going to integrate them into the acts and have no intention of showcasing said creatures seems like a sure-fire to get your audience to turn against you. Idk, maybe it's just me. The Newt appearance at the end sucks hard too and really should have been axed if they couldn't get a live-actor to do it.

Yeah, I had no idea what was going on. But I still enjoyed the show, though the ending was definitely a .....'what the heck' moment.

Sounds exactly like something a scummy, conniving ringmaster would do lol

So it tracks

We never see the complete circus show, as we are interrupted by a decent into Newt's suitcase. It's possible the exotic creatures were going to be used in some sort of grand finale until they are saved before they can be used.

By the way, when I was on batm. The ride broke on this exact point for 10 min. From my long observation, I notice some kind of compressed air cylinder that is attached to below the bookshelf. And from video screen in battle scene and animatronics+shelf dropping effect, you can see these shelf dropping in motion. Maybe this is one of effects that are waiting to turn on!
