As many have said, the wait time really isn't as bad as it seems when posted. I would say my experience was unusual but it seems that most people have to wait about half of what the wait time is posted. So 150 would be around 75 minutes. Obviously this isn't always the case but it definitely feels like the TMs know exactly how to work the line in spite of breakdown problems, outside the wait is a little annoying but inside the line really doesn't feel long and it's such a good line that it doesn't feel like waiting.

However, it's probably wise to wait because certain portions of the queue lessen the experience when filled because you can't hear certain little elements, but nothing to ruin the experience. Overall, I can't wait to go when the crowds are lower.

I can't believe the embankment wall is still two-toned!!! The right side is still, "Hey, what do we do with all this extra black paint?" and the right side is "Be careful and accurate to the subject matter!"

Per Amusement Buzz on twitter

PS: The extra black paint joke is not mine. I stole it from a UC designer pal.

When my daughter is 40" tall (she is 39" and almost 39 1/2 with shoes on) and the new LO on the way is no longer preventing me from riding rides (January) I totally see us spending more time at Uni than Disney next year. Mainly because the new LO won't be interested in anything until about a year old and my daughter (who will be 4 in December) would much rather ride a coaster or other thrill rides than anything else. Sure she has her moments of wanting Peter Pan, Pooh, and visiting Mickey, but overall she is a thrill seeker. However, I do have friends with kids older than mine who their kids would rather go to Disney. In fact two of my friends with young kids (10 and under) that visit about once a year much prefer Disney because their kids are scared of coasters and other such rides. So it really depends on the kid. My daughter will go on rides that my friends 6 & 9 year olds won't go on.

On a side note, I was pregnant when Hogsmeade opened and couldn't ride anything and now I am pregnant when Diagon opens and again can't ride the main attraction lol I will again be waiting until next year to ride anything. Last time I rode sometime near the end of Jan. This year it probably won't be until February. I will go to see everything else before then though.

Oh my, how exciting! Congrats! Just let me know when you will be visiting DA and maybe we can meet up. We haven't chatted all summer.

People love the dragon, but I'm not sure if it works to sit on top of every building (I was bored)

Thanks! I know, I have been busy moving into a new home, plus my in-laws have been down every month or every other month because they were building a house down here. But things should slow down soon. Would love to catch up!

Is it true that the dragon isn't breathing fire as often now?

I saw it breathe 3 or 4 times within an hour the other day, but it seems a bit more unpredictable (maybe because of weather) than last month.

Thank you and very true, hopefully in February there are smaller waits :) The good news is my husband's family is moving down so we will have plenty of baby sitters for a 1 day trip out to Uni to ride everything.

I will be going at some point to HHN, but not until later. Stupid me planned our vacation right at the start of HHN (9/18 to 10/3), so I won't be there for the first night. Hopefully when I do go I can meet up with some people on here.

Not sure if I made something up in my head but I thought I heard it mentioned that if one were to dial MAGIC in the phone booth in London, there'd be a surprise. When we went to look in the booth, it appeared as if the rotary had been broken? Were we just not doing it right?

Well then I think people probably abused it, with throngs trying to get at everything I'm sure someone pressed something a bit too hard - the numbered frame was detached from the dial. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon, it's a very cool Easter egg!

On a completely unrelated note, Universal Orlando's twitter account just tweeted "Who says lightning doesn't strike twice" with a new image, a simple lightning bolt. Could it be a wink to more Potter or simply a marketing ploy based on what appears to be their main property?
