The campaign was bad but the multiplayer is growing on me. Still can't figure out how to fly the damn helicopter without crashing it into the ground within 30 seconds.

I actually meant you spelled disappointment incorrectly by spelling it "preparation." I'm not too keen on modern/old war games, but I definitely prefer Battlefield over Call of Duty.

Speaking of helicopters . . .

Holy shins, through a tunnel?! I quit. I quit at everything.

Two things, some people will prefer BF3 and some MW3 so to each his own. The other is that pilot is amazing!

Oh no, I definitely admit I am biased. I am just sick and tired of COD, and I'm not a fan of Activision. Granted, EA is just as much of a moneywhore as Activision (if not more), but at least they're not a bunch of jerky jerks.

Epic isn't safe from my wrath, either. The new map pack was shipped on the disc. You're paying for a code to unlock content that came with the game.

Albeit, I still bought the season pass because I really enjoy that game. But still.

Why can't everyone be like Valve?

As much as I like Valve, it'd be nice if it didn't take forever for them to make new Half Life games.

The other thing that gets me is that the three maps are going to come out as free DLC on thanksgiving. I got the Command Pack for free anyway so I really can't complain. And being able to play as Bernie made it worth it for me. As for Valve, I can't wait for Gabe to say he hates Microsoft and Sony and will only be making games for Nintendo and PC from now on.

Eh, they're kinda sorta friends with Sony now . . . Wait, hasn't he already said that he hates Microsoft? From an independent game developer standpoint, Microsoft + Xbox 360 is rated one of the least friendly to deal with. The Super Meat Boy developers said they will never work with Microsoft again. Also, Microsoft refuses to allow an Xbox LIVE Arcade game to be published unless it's release before or at the same time as it is on PSN.

I'm all for Half-life being on the wii u. I bet quite a few 360 and PS3 games will be ported over to the wii u.

I am actually considering picking up the Metal Gear Solid HD collection. MGS2: Substance, MGS3: Subsistence, and Peace Walker for just $50.00. Not bad at all. I would pay that just to play PW on a console.

It was a joke that at the beginning of the PS3 run he said that Sony was completely off track and needed to start over and he was siding with Microsoft. Now he is saying that Microsoft is off track and siding with Sony. He can always change his mind again.

That depends on Microsoft. I mean I really doubt we'll ever be seeing steam integration with Xbox 360.

They're busy doing awesome things like this:

Valve takes their time, true, but they definitely aren't slackers.

I agree, Microsoft will never put in steam because they want their achievements and their XBLA Marketplace. And they are treating indie companies poorly at the moment and Twisted Pixel seems to be the only indy developer that has made some major gains with Microsoft. This is one of the reasons that I'm glad that Ubisoft and Warner Brothers are publishing more small games from smaller developers, like From Dust and Bastion.
