Yup. WnW had the Slide Reservation System last year (can't remember if they had it in 2014 as well). @OrlandoGuy referred to it in this older thread. They have this in addition to Express Pass.

Thats what I was thinking but wasn't quite sure. Expected it to be a tad darker brown .

I think that is just the skin. Once in place it gets color added and maybe a skin of cement.

Do water parks get a special kind of paint? Stupid question maybe but I've always though the paint in the Disney parks looked and felt quite thick.

From what I have seen and smelled it is an epoxy paint.
