^ I don't consider what you said as class-ist. Because most of those people you're referring to are CLASSless....and I want them OUT of the park. It's not a matter of who has money and who hasn't in my eyes. It's about having class and decency, which can be found in people with or without money. It's how they're brought up.

Unfortunately, there's a direct correlation between income and how children are brought up, not for everyone but there is a degree of influence. But I agree I hate those classless people, they ruin the 92$ minimum experience for everyone.(Also I wanted to like your post but it threw me an error :P )

As someone from a low income background who has been studying class and race relations for some time, I would say that you're treading on thin ice with those statements.

You have a right to your opinions but are bordering on offensive with the way that you've presented those opinions.

I ask that you keep those sorts of opinions to private discussion, rather than public on these forums at least. If I was offended by your words, I can imagine what less calm people would think.

In my experience though, the most entitled guests I came across were of clear wealth, and often I found their attitudes the worst, and their children most likely to abuse the staff of the park.

In general, regardless of class or income, people of all walks of life have been rude, thrown trash around, and ignored park rules. This applies all over our tourist driven state.

And one last thing: if you have to start your statement with "not trying to be....but" then it's probably being EXACTLY what you say it's not. Examples being " I'm not racist but," "I'm not homophobic but," etc.

^ Exactly. You can have very poor people with bad manners with a "don't care" attitude about anything, as well as very rich people with horrible manners and sickening sense of entitlement. Money doesn't buy class, nor does the lack of money mean you're a moron either.

It's all in the way that you're brought up and you/your family's outlook on life and how to treat people and the world around you. I don't care who has money and who doesn't, I just don't want people rude at the parks or anywhere.

Not trying to be class-ist but this will in turn remove a portion of the obnoxious people from the park that throw trash everywhere, leave 3D glasses in the urinal (yes, I saw this 3 times on my last visit) , etc. Which is a welcome change.

You see the same thing at Disney, which is arguably the most expensive theme park destination in the United States. The only difference is Disney is simply more attentive at cleaning these issues up, which simply makes it appear as if their clientele is better behaved.

I personally have known horribly rude and classless rich & poor people, and the same with very kind people. It's not about the money, it's your heart, manners, and decency that counts.

And yeah, Disney is ridiculously fast & efficient in cleaning. It's beautiful to watch.

The entitlement is what I was referring to in that scenario only in my experience, that might've not been clear. I come from a background where I was borderline homeless and below the poverty line the rest of the time, so I definitely understand it. All in the spirit of respectful and fair discussion. Also the "not trying to be.." Meant my words did not apply to a specific class generally.

It was 16 before? I saw it was 17 and thought it was a 2$ increase. Oh well, either way premium star pass starts getting more premium!

Never been to Disney, but I think it'll be sooner than we all think that a Wall-E esque cleaning system will come to all theme parks (talking about the one on the Axiom).

I'm not trying to start a fight or anything and I think you're a cool guy, but there is still a fundamental problem with your phrasing. That's my main issue.

The underlying issue of people trashing the park and us needing less of that tho, I totally agree with that.

Back on topic.

I wonder what prices for everything will look like come 2016. We think it's steep now, and that's before Springfield, Fast & Furious, and Potter...

I think none of the prices are steep, especially with the prospect that going to Wizarding World can be $179 for an entire year with free parking if you strategically buy an annual pass now.

If I had to guess, I think the Premium Star Pass goes up to $249 with the lower tiers at $199 and $159. And I'll make a bold guess: they'll get rid of the Buy-a-Day, Get-a-Year free promo. This is complete speculation on my part and not based on anything I've read or overheard. I just don't think they'll need it. They'll get all the crowds they want and set attendance records once Potter opens.

I completely agree. Despite any negative comments I've previously posted, the reason I keep renewing my pass is that I think it's still a good value. Sure, I don't like that passholder benefits are being reduced nor that any renewal discount (i.e. loyalty incentive) is offered for existing passholders. But at the end of the day, it's still a good value. I know not everyone has the funds to purchase an AP in advance of the end of the year as Daniel suggests above, but it's really a good idea if you can do it. Heck, you can also purchase a 12-Month No-Blackout Pass ($139) or 12-Month Value Pass ($119) now and wait to use that for most of 2016 and all the trips to Hogsmeade and Springfield as your heart desires. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if we see one before the end of Spring. After all, Universal is introducing two attractions.

A 1-day ticket was $92.

The $87 price was for online purchase and was discontinued.

No, the 1-Day Pass was revived with the recent price changes and the option went up by $5.
