I doubt it would happen but talking to some people about IPs Universal could use for the park someone mentioned the Good Place as an IP to tie the worlds together essentially a park hub.

I know its not a popular idea on here and personally I can't see it, but every now and then I wonder about the WWE having some presence in a new Universal park. I remember years ago concept art for WWE themed rides and entertainment and its something they've been wanting to get into for a while. Plus the two companies have a pretty strong relationship thats always used to both advantages when they run big event in Florida.

I don't think it would be anything substantial as I can't really see it merging over into a theme park that well, but it wouldn't surprise me if there is some presence in the future.

Gonna make a prediction right now that doing a park full of IP's isn't going to drum up as much interest as they think it will. People want different and fresh new ideas, not extensions of what they're currently offering at the main resort.

Of everything in that list only Potter and Jurassic would be extensions. Shrek 4D will likely leave before the new park opens and even if it doesn’t a DreamWorks area at that park wouldn’t really be an “extension” of DreamWorks. Illumination would also be way different if it doesn’t just focus on Minions.

Ehhhh. Tell that to Pandora. Really outside of JW, if it happens, everything else would be fresh.

Uni needs to release some concept art before the end of the year or something because speculating is exciting but actually seeing what they might have planned makes it much more fun.

"Needs" to? Why? The park isn't opening for 4/5 years.

Of course they don't have to but it would be nice to see what might go in the new park. According to some people on this very thread the development stage is pretty far along so why wouldn't you some new info related to it.

God, I really hate how Universal and the GP think sometimes. It’s understandable, but it’s still frustrating.

Frustrates me too, but I understand why they do it and why fans despise it. Disney can get away with releasing concept art 2-3/even more years ahead because people will visit Disney either way because they have “more” to do.

I think Universal could get away with releasing early concept art, but they’re too scared to try.

Universal will probably announce the new park sometime in between the opening of SWGE and the opening of SNW in Japan. At least, that’s what I’m hoping for.

F&F has little to do with it. Uni’s been secretive with info for years. Maybe they’re a bit more so now, but we wouldn’t be getting 3rd Park info either way this early
