If anything is added to the Mario land that this park is getting I want Luigi’s Mansion. It may not be the biggest seller ever but it did well for itself and it is Mario’s brother after all.

Well, a couple of insiders said that they've heard about a shooting dark ride planned for Hollywood's version. Might be Luigi's Mansion.

Maybe. Or maybe Yoshi is more interactive than we thought?

But how does Yoshi translate into a shooting dark ride? I guess it could use Yoshi's tongue, but that's kinda weird.

Those things breed like rabbits. Gotta keep the population down.

Egg tossing mechanic I would assume. Yoshi tosses eggs

Or people are confusing Mario Kart’s interactivity for a “shooter”

I can't get my head around Dreamworks being contained to a single land. Far Far Away, Berk and Kung Fu Panda feel like they carry enough weight to command their own lands.

But then you have to think those three will just be in the new park. Berk goes to IOA, KFP to Kid Zone.

I think people are thinking of “lands” too literally. It’s not going to be fantasyland where they each have rides in a generic setting. They’ll have their own worlds in an overall “DreamWorks” area. Think of how Donkey Kong is part of Super Nintendo World, but has his own dedicated space.

I don't think so. These are from insiders.

Insiders are wrong *all the time*. “Insider” does not mean “infallible”.

Well, they would probably know enough to not confuse Mario Kart for a different attraction. But, yes, they might be wrong.

That's exactly it. Why shoehorn so many IPs into such a place. It's great to have so much potential for a land but Universal would be severely limiting themselves.

I don't think this is comparable. It's thought that Mario, Yoshi and DK exist within the same universe with Zelda and Pokemon being separate. Shrek, HTTYD and Kung Fu Panda are all very much their own thing.

Again, DK is desperate from Mario though. It’s its own land in a land. You don’t see he Mushroom Kingdom from Donkey Kong land. The DreamWorks properties inside the larger DreamWorks area would all be their own thing

I think once you start going down the land within a land it gets messy. Nintendo might get away with it by calling it Super Nintendo world but I don’t think it will work for Dreamworks.

I think the ideas by @Alicia and @Imperius for spreading Dreamworks about makes more sense.

Any way it doesn’t matter. I think it’s progress to get a feel on two of the five lands potentially locked down.

I also think the “Only 4 lands” thing could easily be something lost in translation from real information to reporting. 4 lands seems *incredibly* small for a 110-120 acre theme park, especially when we take into consideration how Universal has been designing its lands.

SNW is only 8 acres. Diagon is only 12-ish. There’s only gonna be 4 lands like that?

Personally, if the “4” number is correct, I think it means there will only be 4 franchises/IPs present. So “DreamWorks” May be misconstrued as a land rather than just one of the properties

This. This is exactly why I think that there will be shared-IP lands.

Although, to bring up a fair point, here's a potential land summary (yes, I made up the number of acres)

  • SNW - 11 acres (it gets expanded)
  • Classic Monsters - 15 acres
  • Zelda - 14 acres (it's spread out, similar to Galaxy's Edge)
  • DreamWorks - 26 acres (7 for Trolls, 9 for Dragons, 10 for Shrek)
  • Fantastic Beasts - 10 acres
  • Entrance and Hub - 20 acres
  • Backstage and Expansion - 20 acres

If it’s worlds then IPs will share. Can see just themed worlds with a mix of IPs inside.

Way wayyyy too big.

I think I have a hold on at least 3 of them now, still completely uncertain of land 4. But at least one of them is a “single IP”, I know that.
