Or Disney comes Out w Moana 2 and Shrek is left irrelevant and rarely acknowledged to any kid. You people are acting as if Shrek is such an amazing movie, and with the new film coming out that kids will see the "wonder" in it or something. Umm, no. It's an OK movie but it's nothing a bad Disney movie can't beat. It is fairly mediOgre (pun intended) and shouldn't be made into a land. The best it should get is a ride like it has now. Really not getting why people are wanting a whole castle/ land/ ride related to this whatever movie. I like Shrek, but not this extent.

After trying to fix your grammatical errors, I have some things to say about that.

Shrek, broke grounds as a film, with it's unconventional humor and charm; and that it has gained more popularity than Moana did, which apparently seems to be a disappointment for TWDC in the terms of box office revenue.

Shrek is in a sense, one of the main-line mascots of DWA, and rightfully so. And that if he and his characters get a good deal of treatment for the fourth gate, that makes sense with the relaunch of the series kicking in by 2021.

I don't know why you people want this shrek land so bad, and choose to annihilate anyone's opinion that isn't yours. Shrek deserves no more than a ride and maybe some outdoor greenery THATS IT. There's better and more important attarctions that's should fill up this park and it is not shrek. It's a valid opinion as well as obvious.

No one, is putting my perspective back into your order. Yeah, shrek won over monster inc. That was in 2001, almost 17 years ago. That doesn't make shrek as good as you think it is today.

Shrek is still more than capable of having it's own land, and I say this with confidence due to a stand alone Shrek attraction that opened in London back in 2015. The attraction is the same cost per person as various UK theme parks yet is sold out constantly, especially during the school breaks. On top of this, they also offer an adults only version on select nights featuring more adult focused jokes which also sells out consistently - proving that the franchise is loved by a wide age group unlike some more recent animated films.

The point isn't that people necessarily desperately want a Shrek land, more so the fact that the brand (as stated various times) is still relevant even with other studios releasing popular movies.

What IPs/attractions would you fill this park up with then?

Genuinely curious. Shrek seems like a no-brainer to me.

Universal has an idea, as well as a lot of people hear. Just some choose to beleive that shrek will get a land of its own. its not my say to choose what attractions I want in this park, but I do know that just because shrek is a "good" movie 1. That doesn't mean it should have a land and 2. there are other dreamwork films that are nicer in aesthetic and would make for a better attarction.

^^^Shouldn't get a land IMO but people argue that since it's such a great movie that it should. That's pretty much it.

Especially when he tries to play the victim card that we're attacking his opinions then proceeds to do it to us.

Then again, this is the guy who thinks Nintendo is stupid as well.

Nintendo is stupid. As well as your stupid decision to jump into this conversation.

I'm curious. What exactly about Nintendo, is stupid, and why exactly do you not want it at the fourth gate?

No, I am legitimately asking that; because that we all have different opinions and different thought processes.

To me, you have to consider a few things.

Nintendo, is a worldwide brand; that has created multiple iconic franchises, some of them even being featured prominently for the Orlando rendition of Super Nintendo World (Mario, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi). There is a reason to why Mario is a mascot of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and that is brand notoriety.

Zelda and Pokemon, are similar in that regard.

While Zelda hasn't had as large of a push, it has been just as iconic of bringing a core franchise in Nintendo's roster, and is in the main three, Mario; Zelda; and Pokemon.

And what about Pokemon? Well, to be quite quaint, we wouldn't have things like Digimon, Yugioh, or Yo Kai Watch, if it wasn't for the success of Pokemon.

Pokemon, quite literally; created a different genre of gaming in a way, that has a high popularity on multiple levels. Where if it'd be the games, the anime, or even the merch; people can identify Pikachu in a second notice.

There is a lot of potential on many levels with Nintendo, and particularly those two IPs; that can not be ignored. And that, having them as apart of your next big theme park will be beneficial on the long haul, for not just merchandise reasons; but that there are multiple ways you can do attractions for them, and even lands.

Just my take on it. I am not trying to be facetious, or coy; but that I am trying to give my response to everything said by Luke, and Mike. And that I don't think digging into eachother is a good thing.

IMO I never liked anime cartoons and that genre of artwork or illustartion. I never found it appealing or very creative compared to something like Harry Potter which I did like when I was little. One was more colorful and couldn't go beyond that, compared to potter which is the total opposite. Nintendo IMO suits USJ more than Orlando because of cultural reasons, but I do have my younger brothers who do like it and I guess from my perspective in the past few years with Pokemon go; another crowd that this largely appeals to are middle aged men, sitting in a chair for hours on the computer, being overweight, and obsessing over this game. I know that it sounds stupid but these people are the majority at comic con and are hours on end playing Pokemon go. I focus more on that perspective than the general public liking it which I see as well. I don't really like anything about it. The art, the characters, the annoying and reptactive music, etc. This is my educated opinion as some might say an uneducated opinion is wrong. I know this brand is family friendly, kid friendly, a lot of people like it, but I honestly don't see why. I sorta focus on the obsessive side of it but I've been like this since I was little, as well as my twin brother.

Edit: I know that a lot of people like it and it's kind of a steyoptype for people who aren't like this, but I know this doesn't define even half the people who play this. It's just that a lot of people who like this brand are like some of my descriptions and it's something that I frown down app on as not being successful. Also, I'm an artist and my instructor who has prepared me for scholarships in design schools has told me to educate myself with detailed work and creative illustartion, which is something that Nintendo is not. I always leaned towards jk worlings work as well as other types of art. But Nintendo or anime was never accepted by my parents or instructors so I never liked it.
