What a phenomenal opening day at Epic Universe. I've visited the park 8 times now and this was one of the most successful days I've had. I did a lot and it was so chill.

They will have a fireworks show every night. Tonight's show has been canceled due to damaged fountains from last night's fireworks

All the firework equiptment was removed yesterday so not sure where you heard this from, there are no fireworks planned for daily operations yet.

I had to make room for Ministry... Sadly I won't be riding that attraction 100 times anytime soon but 2 rides at a time isn't bad! Lmao

At what time did you queue up for it and how long did you wait?

Stand by times are very reasonable today again.....except for Ministry, of course....Touring should remain very comfortable as long as Universal sticks with this 17,000 daily guests maxim.......This is going to be a sweet visit for guests at this point in time......Universal should be well rewarded on social and mainstream media.

Okay so who is going to be the one to design a custom frame for our opening day collectors tickets since we couldn’t get medallions?

Reddit is kind of the scum site of the internet. No need to pay attention to it.

I think stardust is so special because it may not be as good as a coaster on paper as velocicoaster but no other coaster in the world will have you laughing and smiling as much as stardust. It almost feels like you build a friendship with the other people on the other track as you’re going into the first launch and you are waving to them and everything and then from that point on you feel like your just dancing with them through the whole ride and reaching for them in the celestial spin. It’s truly (in my opinion) the greatest roller coaster experience in the world

Ranking Stardust is a bit tricky for me since the conditions have to be right. If both sides aren’t running, or if I’m not in a row with a good view of the other train (I always request back row), then I’d put VC over it. But in the right situation Stardust is likely my favorite ride at the entire resort. The dueling/racing factor is intangible, but puts it over the edge imo. And at night it’s straight up a religious experience.

Even though it's a hundred years old, the wooden coaster "Racer" at Kennywood Park has that same vibe. The two sides compete, yell at each other in a friendly challenge through the entire ride, and experience a comradery of sorts. A truly fun experience...... I see where you're coming from.

Today has seemed to be a bit rougher. Werewolf has gone down at least twice that I know of. Monsters went down when I was in line. Tried to go on Mario Kart and it was down. But maybe I’ve just been unlucky and happened to be at or near the rides when they went down.

Edit: Forgot to ask a question and didn’t want to double post. For those that have been, does Werewolf or Mine Cart add to any ambience at night? Or are they pretty much the same with a few more lights?

I've been on Mine Cart at night, and it definitely adds a bit of ambiance. The waterfall looks great in the dark
