They definitely did this Harry Potter marathon on purpose to pump EU. Every commercial is EU related. Smart marketing.

To be fair, it seems like every weekend is a HP marathon, for years!

Serioulsly they unlocked the way to keep a property in the public consciousness - ubiquitous broadcasts.

So it seems like the following rides have single rider lines:

Curse of the Werewolf
Battle at the Ministry
Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
Bowser’s Challenge
Mine-Cart Madness
Monsters Unchained
Stardust Racers

Here are my questions:

1. Will the single rider lines be open the first three days of opening? I haven’t seen anything confirming or denying.

2. Does the single rider lines cut out the queues? Some I’d like to see.

3. Do we think those lines would move quicker than the regular lines during the first three days of opening?

Gonna' reply to 2 and 3.

2. Generally, a single rider line will skip most of the queue, so I wouldn't use it for the likes of Ministry or Monsters for your first time around, nor Bowsers Challenge if you haven't seen the queue and want to. Every other attraction listed you can skip the queue as there's not much (unless you want to see the Squawks and Cranky AA in Mine-Cart.).

3. It honestly depends on ops and the attractions themselves, once Ministry is up and running to a good capacity, that single rider is probably gonna' be one of the best in the whole park. But if it's at more of a limited capacity, you could still be waiting a bit. Monster's single rider could be very good as well. All the other attractions are two-across seating, which is honestly not the most ideal for quick single rider lines. It could be decent like Velocicoaster, or absolutely not worth it like Hagrid. Thing is, it's a big wait and see on how they'll go with general crowds.

Thank you! This does help.

I probably will go through the queues the first time so I can see them. I know most of the single rider lines skip the queues in the other parks. Guess I was verifying that was also the case for Epic.

And I know it really is TM and ride dependent how quickly all lines run. The seating of the ride vehicles does help in my planning!

And more importantly? Will it stay open later because the park isnt in a residential area? We all love the parks at night and it seems so sad how early universal and islands closes. Jurassic Park at night is such a treat I pay for the OI afterhours events.

Does anyone know if this theory has any truth to it? I’ve heard this for years but I feel like it doesn’t totally make sense.

It's possible they heard this information from a more widely-known insider and are just repeating it here for confirmation.

This seems to be the provenance of the 9AM-9PM claim, an admin on a Facebook group for travel agents:

Sunset in Orlando on the 22nd is 8:14 PM so there'd be a tiny sliver of nighttime lighting package visible if these hours are accurate.

I can’t wait for the Celestial Park or Portal themed SNL sketch in the final 5 episodes. The corporate synergy is so there.

I'd also count on (while not official hours) the hub being open a bit later to accommodate those in queues and possibly extended shopping hours. So you could be at Epic Universe to at least maybe an additional 60-90 minutes after park close?

Get in line for a ride at park close, and then slowly walk out/chill at the hub.
