They keep pushing tms previews back and we stil no nothing about ap previews

They aren't going to change the heavily advertised grand opening date. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they retroactively treat those passholder tickets they put on sale as the actual passholder previews/technical rehearsals and the official grand opening for the GP becomes June 1st. It would make sense since the regular single day tickets for the GP are only for June 1st and beyond.

I don’t see them doing any AP previews until ride reliability gets better to be honest, even if APs know what they’re getting into with a not fully finished park, I can still see the complaints rolling in

Five extra days of TM previews does not mean the sky is falling, and there’s zero chance they change the grand opening date. We’re still over two months away, there’s more than enough time for several weeks of additional previews whenever the park is ready for them.

but at that point, what would be the functional difference of moving the grand opening date then? People, including the public (and a lot of them, presumably), have already paid full price for their tickets for those May dates, so now they lose out on the novelty of being part of the opening day crowd/celebrations for what? If the expectation that AP preview tickets will be discounted, is Universal going to give out credits for tickets between May 22-31?

Maybe Universal internally limited capacity to help soften the crowds, but I can't imagine that they'll move the official opening date and tell everyone who paid full price for their May tickets, "well this isn't the real thing, come back June 1 for your actual opening day events"

If the opening date was in danger surely they'd be cutting back on preview days to give themselves more time to work without guests around, not adding more.

I didn't say they would I just said I wouldn't be surprised. I just wonder if they'll ever end up selling single day tickets for the GP for the May dates. Kinda sucky for non APs and people who don't buy the vacation packages that the opening weeks aren't even an option.
