I really don't get the hate for Mario Kart. I think it's a great dark ride with some fun gaming elements. I get why people are disappointed it wasn't more thrilling but come on. It's still a really enjoyable ride with amazing sets (even with the AR) with one of the best ride queues I've ever gone through.

every chance I get to ride it I do! It is a fun attraction and never the same ride twice.

Its mock testing day today they are testing out different scenarios before tms tomorrow so they are getting everyone ready to go id certain things happen

Really incredible to be here for a brand new park opening. As I’ve said before, I’m more than happy to meet up with anyone else who’ll be there on opening day if they’re willing

Higher level employee previews (or whatever you want to call them) and some marketing being filmed. I know they were filming in Dark Universe the other day

To be completely fair, I have not been on the ride so I have no idea how good or terrible the ride is , but from what I’ve read I have fairly low expectations. Sometimes that’s the best way to experience a ride. I remember a lot of people hating smugglers run , and I actually had a lot of fun with it. Of course , I have only been on it one time, and I could see that repeat rides could get boring , but that goes with most rides

Anyone have an idea of what resort-wide staffing is looking like? I have friends visiting UOR this week and have heard about long lines for everything that isn’t an attraction. Wondering if Epic has something to do with it.

So very true, after all this is the first major theme park in the states to really be documented from the very beginning in this day and age. This doesn't happen often, so it's been quite a treat to see it unfold.

The following rides list single rider on the app:

Battle at the Ministry
Curse of the Werewolf
Donkey Kong
Hiccup's Wing Gliders
Mario Kart
Monsters Unchained
Stardust Racers

I've got a good feeling single rider will be ace for rides like Monsters Unchained and Battle at the Ministry. I use the single rider line on Forbidden Journey as that generally goes quick. And with the size of the elevators at BatM, that can provide ample empty seating to fill.

As for everything else, it's honestly a wait and see how efficient things are. Coasters with two across seating can honestly be a crap shoot compared to coasters/rides with four across seating, I've been on some where they're not too bad, and then there's Hagrid which was terrible.

Does anybody know May hours will be announced? I'm curious to see how long the park is open for the first month.
