Out of all the foods here I'm most excited for the Butterbeer crepe. Sounds and looks delicious!

The Celestial Park offerings (especially the table-service) don’t look too inspiring.

Except Pizza Moon, which looks genuinely delicious. Pizza Moon sweep incoming.

Intentional that way.

Keep the individual land offerings unique while leaving Celestial Park restaurants as the default basic/safe option.

Hopefully, it should keep the more creative options safe from being removed with basic chicken tenders and burgers.

It sort of follows the way Imagineering designed Animal Kingdom - keeping basic options like Pizza & American BBQ in Discovery Island, while offering more 'exotic' options in Africa/Asia/etc.

I think this particular crop of items is collectively hurt by highlighting a couple of items that seemed aimed at picky toddlers. I'm hopeful the full menu for some of these restaurants will be much more exciting.

Shouldn't a vast variety of restaurants entail a vast variety of food? I'm also not sure this logic follows when they're spotlighting sea bass and ramen alongside sand cake and pizza, and when the safest selection of items presented here is clearly found at Super Nintendo World.

If I had a child, I would definitely order this, but I've mostly stopped ordering desserts. Killer presentation though, just not to my taste.

Aside from the cereal kibble and this, I'm pretty excited by this food lineup.

On the official website for Epic Universe, the dining locations for all but Ministry of Magic have been added to their respective lands. There, you can also find offerings and menu items not listed in the initial report, such as Darkmoor Black Wings at Das Stakehaus, the Meridian Bramble at Bar Zenith and mac and cheese cones for Grog and Gruel.
The Discover Universal blog also mentions additional menu items such as Double Fried Korean Wings at Blue Dragon, and even the dining locations for Grand Helios.

It doesn’t need to be too over the top.

Simple dishes with fresh ingredients is all I’m asking for.

I agree. I have no concerns about the prospect of finding food that I'll enjoy in the park, but none of what they previewed (except that Garlic Stake at the Burning Blade) made me immediately make a note to make sure I add it to my plans for when I visit, either.

I think this initial reveal slate was calibrated to not present anything too unexpected for an average guest's/family's tastes.

(I do still think making Das Stakehaus a quick-service offering neither steakhouse options nor German/Alpine-inspired options is a huge missed opportunity, but that's been baked-in for a year or two already, so it is what it is.)

As someone who was not aware of those details upon seeing the reveal, i was admittedly underwhelmed and went, "Wait... Where's the steaks?"

Oddly enough i got a great rate for Terra Luna in Sept ($136). Go figure.

It looks like Stella Nova and Terra Luna are holding strong in that price range. I'm excited to try out one of these in December, but the Grand Helios APH rates are... insanely low right now for mid December. It's tempting me to splurge a little

Also, these menu items look great! With two toddlers, I actually like to see the items geared towards little ones !

So...

Tell me I'm crazy if I am.

The "Bird on a Stake" is literally the Pinchos that they just had at HHN. Was that a secret menu item test???
