That would be...odd. But if that means an hour of enjoying Celestial that isn't the worst thing ever.

They still get a head start being closer to the ride they want to get in over people entering the gates at normal entry time.

Unless everyone is at the gate an hour early, then rushes to a portal to wait for another hour.
Will any restaurants/bars be open?

Oak & Star has a breakfast menu. It would make sense to open it during previews if guests are coming in that early.

That throws a wrench in things. If no one is getting on rides before 11am, I wonder if Mine-Cart Madness should be top priority even if you don’t have early entry.

So early access into Celestial Park is the benefit? At the moment they hold everyone at the edge of the covered walkways... is that they where they intend on holding hotel guests. If so, everybody else is at the turnstiles?

Doesn't sound like efficient. Unless they intend on giving hotel guests a physical head start to the portals?

Yeah logistically I don’t really get the move here. I guess they’d hold the passholders on one of the arcades and let resort guests through the others? Is Universal required to offer EPA or something?

I'm wondering how access between Celestial Park and the Helios hotel will work for folks who aren't actually staying there? Obviously it's a bit early to know anything but my wife really, REALLY wants to experience Bar Helios and there aren't any room reservations for when we are going.

So I almost wonder if it's possible to book a reservation at Bar Helios and enter the hotel through the park.. then return? Or I wonder if we'd be barred from returning to the park via the Helios entrance because we aren't actually staying there?

-and what would happen if we parked in the general Epic Universe parking, booked a time for after park closing at Bar Helios and entered the hotel? Since the park is closed, we'd probably have to walk all the way around the park back to general parking or something to return to our car, huh? So many questions buzzing around my head. But still very excited!

Correct.

Anyone can use the Helios entrance. You can go to Helios without a hotel room key. You can get into Epic from Helios too, as long as the park is still open and you have a ticket.
Alicia said:
And yes, you will be able to enter Helios from the park and then go back out to the park after, even if not staying at the hotel.

You can come in just to chill at spots like this, for a little respite from the park.

At least for now. I'm imagining if they get over run with Epic guests that could change.

There’s not that much to do. It is just a hotel after all. And the two main dining locations require advance reservations.

Seems like even people off of epic’s property will now be able to view wait times at epic on the app

Is this new? I was able to see wait times on the app during TM Previews (I'm in Pennsylvania lol)

Also - I wasn't aware of the Helios entrance being available for all. That's good to know!
Although, I could see that becoming an issue with people Ubering to Helios and using the entrance.

Previously I could only view the wait times at epic while I was on Epic’s property

I know almost all the rides have single rider lines, have they been open at all during the previews? Obviously I know ministry’s will not be open.

But what about EPA? Would they let anyone Uber to Helios and use their entrance or is a room key needed for EPA only?
