i legit ran into that situation where a little kid gets loose and crawls under the wall to enter a stall someone else is already in (me) and then just stands there and talks to them; AND IN THE BACK OF JAPAN OF ALL PLACES?!

Forget the nicest bathroom, which one is the most hidden/out of the way? Sometimes you need a little peace and quiet to reflect back on the horrible choices you made that day

Looking at the app - my guess will be the Stardust Racers restrooms or the Pizza Moon restrooms

So far Minion Cafe hasn’t changed much, and they offer very unique dishes there. They dropped a cream puff dessert, but I think it just didn’t sell very well with so many other good desserts. The fact they still have salmon, ramen, and other non burger and chicken tender meals there and do so well is promising for Epic.

Do you know if it's the same for DreamWorks Land food items?

I'm mainly asking because I'm wondering if it's a "it's Minions so almost anything sells" thing or things are actually popular/well-received so they've kept almost everything. Case in post I tried the PB&J minion cupcake out of curiosity and will never do that again because I love myself too much to go through that again (it was awful), and I wonder how many others might do the same; I wouldn't miss it if it was gone but on Uni's spreadsheets a sale is a sale so it stays.

If they've got a good handle on the GP's tastebuds now where they won't have to make big changes or removals to original opening menus then that's great!

Epic is looking beautiful but it’s just getting harder to see this concept’s justification beyond further devotion to IP. This is, again, HEAVILY conditioned on me actually visiting, but I can’t stop seeing Celestial Park as a steep downgrade from Port of Entry, both thematically and visually. The details are certainly there, but I feel like the soul isn’t.
Personally I think it's difficult to gauge the soul of something that is a) being seen from angles if wasn't designed for and b) isn't complete. There's still landscape work being done, the land's intricate details aren't complete (ex: Blue Dragon statue), and the fountains have only just started testing. Even with TM previews they're not seeing Celestial Park in its fully-designed state yet.

For me, the area around the main portal up to the statue of Luna does appear a step up from the Port of Entry so far. I'll know for sure once I hear the music and everything is as it should be post-construction.

USH gets unfairly criticized for this IMO because of its location and since it wasn't originally built with "immersive theme park" in mind

This is something that needs to be remembered when discussing older parks because it wasn't a thing until later. Newer lands might handle the sight line issue better but to some degree they're somewhat shoehorned into the older design of the park when it wasn't a priority and only so much can be done at that point. Or at least it may take several years over different projects to finally address it.

It’s still early on that one, but so far they’ve only added new items—including several seasonal/temporary items, like the Gingy gingerbread cookie for the holidays or the dog food hash can for Dogman release.

The Pizza Moon restrooms will be the busiest in the park, mark my words.

My money is on the ones attached to Blue Dragon as best. They’re as big as the Pizza Moon ones, but better hidden. Runner up may be ones at entrance to Wizarding World, as the ones near Ministry ride may get more use and ones near land entry may be passed by. But we shall see.

Ahhh - they aren't all showing on the app so I wasn't aware there were any at Blue Dragon!

I saw several tms say that the park isn’t ready for the public quite yet from rides not working to construction still going on

That's expected TBH. If it's May 1 and we're still hearing this, then I'd be more concerned.

Going back to the sightline discussion (I know), I wanted to provide some context on how Helios will look from Dark Universe.

Personally, I don’t find this very offensive in the grand scheme of overall thematic immersion. Even though it’s technically a “Grade C” sightline, as per @DrStarlander, it’s the central focal point of the theme park, meant to be seen from and to overlook all of Epic Universe.

I’m surprised they didn’t go land by land with the tm previews

Actually, I'm pleased with Epics progress thus far. I never expected TM (this week) and Hotel employees (next week) testing this early. Universal has lots of time to get the finishing touches.

I'm putting a crew together. We go in after closing, out by dawn. Bring shovels and dark clothes.
