Because they literally specialize in music for movie trailers and commercials. Their website boasts doing the music for the commercials for Puss in Boots the last wish. And their Twitter feed is all things like this:



Edit to add they just posted the promo for Helios today so I imagine they’ll keep posting promos they worked on over the next few days. I don’t believe the Dark Universe fly through was Danny Elfman’s score yet, so if that shows up on their feed that’ll prove they share promos they worked on for lands they didn’t score in the park.

I've honestly been trying to avoid spoilers for the Nintendo offerings so I don't know yet, but wouldn't it just be the same loop as Japan and Hollywood's lands?

If we're talking DK, I'd love to hear David Wise arrange a few parts of the loop, but the land is based primarily on Returns so they'll either get someone completely new or from that arrangement team.

I wouldn't say David Wise's involvement would be prevented due to the land being based off of Retro's games. A significant portion of Returns' soundtrack is remixes of his work from the original SNES game, and he returned to do the soundtrack for Tropical Freeze, which the land takes at least some influence from.

My guess is they want to get ahead of the rumors that the ride was experiencing delays and not be ready for opening date.

This encourages me, to point out a ride would be ready for opening day felt concerning but I trust @Alicia so this sounds encouraging. Really curious how DK is doing given Japan’s situation.

The fact that such a rumor was even out there is mildly concerning (to the extent that anything on this subject is actually "concerning").

But surely, having nailed down the opening date for the public, they must be confident they'll be opening the complete park.

I see they slightly tweaked (for the better) that Dracula image we saw as part of the land reveal. It's now much more evident that he's wearing the Lugosi-style crest around his neck, which is nice.

Still don't love his overall look, though.
