That was actually what I was thinking. If it was a hint at a future PETS ride of some variety

It would make a lot of sense honestly.

The Race Through New York ride building is "up the road" from Illumination Avenue (TSLoP is also Illumination) and TSLoP movie is set in New York so it would make perfect sense for this attraction to "bridge the gap" between those two areas (Illumination Avenue and New York) seamlessly.

But.....USO has had no appetite for a SLOP ride. They passed before. There was more space at Shrek than USH Pets occupies. The big problem though, is that SLOP merch just never took off in the park. There was a time when the film came out that USO gave a ton of retail shelf space (especially in IOA) to SLOP. It didn't sell. Now there's just a small splattering of SLOP merch through the parks. Myself, I love what I've seen of the ride, but I doubt its destined for USO, especially in the very small footprint that the GP popular Fallon ride occupies. There's more popular IP's that can be used for expansion at USF.

Raptors in the kitchen! That's an incredible reference.

Little updates like these go a really long way in making the park feel more alive and cared for. I love both of these. There is no financial incentive to either. They are just fun, well-done little additions to 20+ year old lands. I want way more of this kind of thing.
