I wonder how Universal will approach a full Warner Bros themed park. Universal-Warner Studios? I mean, if the park is just called Warner Bros Park, people would think it's not at Universal... unless they just say something simple as Warner Bros Studios Park - at Universal Orlando Resort.

My updated new resort map. CityWalk is the complete heart of this resort. Pretty much everything to the left would be phase 1.

It’s hard to tell because but it looks similar in size to last time. I’d say it’s easy 120 acres+

I doubt they put hotels anywhere near the back of the land considering the sewage treatment plant back there

Theme it to Shrek ....and his Swamp. ;) That'll work. Pure swamp ambiance and perfect scent effects.

I was thinking that. I originally planned on moving some of the hotels to the outer ridges but I liked the idea of CityWalk being a massive hub for the full resort to help the transport logistics.

or....you could switch it with your Nintendo hotel. The Gamers will never even notice the sewage plant there. ;)

Can someone repost the map with all the land they ended up with... I think there are some other nearby properties that could be used for hotels too. Also the entrance land from Universal Blvd.

Don't forget about the parcels below your premier hotel on either side of the projected road. Hotels? What Teebs said. That's where the parking structures could go as well.

As I've said before, I wouldn't be worried at all about the smell of the wastewater plant. Visually, they would need to address it, but otherwise, it's fine.
Put the pool on the back side and thick foliage in between.

Maybe they could theme it as you being the size of a Nintendo action figure and build a giant wooden fence behind the hotel?

Sewage can be a problem, if you are ever near that Walmart down the road and the wind is moving in the right direction, you can smell it clear as day.

You can get a noise and visual barriers but can a smell barrier exist?

I thought about moving the Nintendo hotel to beside the car park as I assume it would be next door to Super Nintendo World with it's own entrance. I think a big car park would make for a great canvas for a huge mural.

I'd love to see themed car parks to become a thing. If DHS ever went down the garage route, a crashed star destroyer would be the ultimate:

Efteling park uses scents in their different areas, maybe something similar could be implemented.

*edit* I mean they kind of do this on a small scale at a grocery store...baking fresh bread just next to the fish and meat.

The Universal Orlando Resorts bakery should go in that location. Yeast, butter, and cinnamon smells all day long.

While I was having my house built, we rented a house for seven months that was about 50 yards from a city sewage plant. The smell of chemicals was almost always in the air. Not something I would ever do again.
