Wait so they don't want you to film the shows/scarezones from now on?

Pro camera or not, that’s absurd that they tried to block filming for the show and “zones”.

It was a big point of frustration for me today. Unless I'm an idiot, there's nowhere on the site the specifically lists cameras as not allowed (and I looked!) and I was let in yesterday with my camera and was only told that I couldn't film in the houses (of course !) So I had 3 or 4 hours today before my flight left to go home so I figured that I'd spend the time at UHU. Left my big suitcase at the hotel near the airport and just brought my camera figuring that I'd stop by the hotel on the way back to the airport. Used a Lyft to get there. Walked in and was told that I couldn't bring it in. Mentioned that I brought it in yesterday. They told me that they made an exception yesterday. Went to guest services and (respectfully) complained that I don't think I'm wrong to assume that cameras were allowed given that it's not listed on the website and I was allowed to bring it in yesterday. They told me no. And I didn't have time to Lyft back to the hotel, drop it off and Lyft back just to Lyft back to the airport in another hour or two. Lockers were broken at UHU so I couldn't leave it there. I didn't have a car to put it in. I asked for an open ended ticket since I don't know when I'm going to be back. The best they did was give me a case number to email them about when I do have a date.

I enjoyed my first day but I was very disappointed with how the second day went. I would've liked to see a more clearly listed policy on the website so I could've known to leave my camera at the hotel. Or at the very least I would've liked to see them emphasize yesterday that it was an exception a lot more prominently to where I would've known not to bring it today.

So learn from my mistake, don't bring your pro camera (the definition of the supervisor being any camera that wasn't just a cell phone)

Well, eventually they folded and allowed some to film with pro cameras. It was case by case. But you can film at anytime with a phone. (sorry, realized I didn’t initially explain it the best).

Yeah - it’s stated on the entrance, but nowhere on the website. If that’s the rule they’re gonna enforce, they gotta be clear and upfront about it on the website, too.

If it's going to be a policy going forward, they need to clearly advertise it on the website and have functional lockers on-site.

They couldn’t just hold your camera at guest services while you enjoyed the park ?
