I'm going on opening day but I only firmed up my travel plans recently since I was tacking it on to the conference the week before, so I don't have unlimited tickets. I'm hoping that I can either upgrade when I get there or find someone trying to dump their unlimited ticket.

Chucky not being at HHN has never stopped them from selling his merch, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Are we expecting them to just take the layout and props from one of the Exorcist/Chainsaw/Monster houses and doing a copy + paste? I mean, the Monster house description literally sounds like the 2019 one from Orlando.

No. These are fresh builds and designs unique to Vegas. Their design will feature scripted scenes that are likely designed to let performers shift between parts of the house (and allows them to cast fewer scareactors).

POV's are creeping out. Won't be able to experience it this year, but Scarecrow legitimately looks like one of the best haunt experiences Universal has ever made.

You gotta wonder if guests are ever gonna get confused by the Exorcist Believer houses that aren't just based on a newer, less regarded film, but based on a cut of the film that doesn't exist.

This one's a little closer to the movie (they get rid of the doll and added some movie characters) but it still climaxes with a house going into hell sequence that I'm reasonably certain was in an earlier cut and got removed.

It was.

Murdy's reasonably open about the fact that they frequently lock scenes and elements that later get completely excised from the final film. Think 2017's Insidious, too. This is just especially bizarre given that they've completely abandoned this iteration of the Exorcist franchise by this point and it's a semi-permanent installation.
