The fact that every piece of promotional material they've put out for this is using footage from older mazes, as well as the fact they only seem to show promotional artwork with the opening barely months away, is a bit concerning to me. The building may be done, and for all we know, the interior is done. But the outside of the building, the sidewalks, pathways, fences, exterior, giant piles of dirt... I don't know.
I mean, I get that even if it is complete inside, you may not want to give much away. But not even, like, a single prop in place? The store? The bar? Anything, even if it's out of focus?
Universal does seem pretty confident to keep pumping this up. But I'll believe it when I see it. To me, it looks like a lot of stuff that needs to be done is probably stuff that Universal may not be directly in control of.
And if anyone has visited the area, the roads all around it are in terrible condition. Hope they get to fix those up before it opens, but I don't see how that can happen as well.
