Whew! Those prices are a lot for generic theme park food. Seems like more and more, we're going to be heading out to City Walk or just snacking. $20 - 25+ for a burger(or chicken tenders??), fries, and soda?

I’d deff prefer a cowfish burger over the burger digs! Still, cowfish is $22-$26 while BD is $17. Not defending the prices just putting into context.

Even before the latest price hikes, I’ve always said that if you’re only ordering one meal, a sit-down restaurant at CW is often the better value than QS.

Despite the price hikes, I'm happy with the quality increase that we've seen in the QS food recently. I was genuinely blown away by how good all the Epic QS was, and I was also very impressed with Circus McGurkus on our recent visit.

I was referring to their new option which is $21, and more comparable quantity wise to a CF burger, not the tiny $17 McDonalds patty.

Some pretty wild recent jumps at quick services:

• Chicken Tender Platter at Fire Eater's was $12.49, jumped to $15.49 (has there been a change as to how they serve it here versus Mel's recently? It's priced $12.99 at Mel's)
• Minion Cafe entrees up $1.00
• Sides throughout the resort up $0.50

Can you still order just a slice of pizza at Cafe 4? It seems like the online menus now have the previous version of a combo as the "base" price while the new combo includes soda.

I'm not schooled enough in food and beverage marketing to know which of...
- Displaying a lower pricepoint with a fountain drink being a somewhat "hidden" add-on that you add yourself
or
- Displaying the higher pricepoint with the drink included
... actually entices more guests, but I do know I would balk at those prices. I think those would just look a lot better with the $4-5 drink left out of the total, and while I know I can presumably get the dish without the combo, some people (I have to believe) would just look at those numbers and move on. Or maybe not, I don't know!

Also, reminder: the grilled chicken bowl at Satu'li Canteen, possibly the finest theme park quick service entree in existence, is a mere $13 and change!
