Sorry to "Doom & Gloom"... I know this event is new, but the little bit added so far doesn't seem to be up to the quality/standard expected from Universal.

Again, the minimal to non-existent hype from the park for this event is not good. Not even promo shots of photo-op characters. *sigh*

Most excited about the BTTF section and the Jim Henson Creature Shop designs, but otherwise, I agree.

The BTTF photo-op at Tram unload has me underwhelmed due to its small scale in size. It's awkward lol

I'm still very curious how the BTTF stuff will work in Courthouse Square. There's a lot mentioned, but being familiar with that area off-tram, it has me scratching my head.

At least TM preview night is coming up soon, so we should get a better idea. Unless they get a "No video/photo uploads until after the 25th" NDA

Yikes. That promo does not help sell what this event is or actually offers. Also obvious Japan/Orlando footage (Potter/OnePiece).

It looks like Saturday the 26th has added Early Access availability where it was previously shown as sold out.

The problem here is even if they get a bunch of great press footage to help sell what this thing actually is by the first weekend, that only leaves you with three additional weekends to turn things around and sell tickets. It's not a long runway.

In any a case, got my tickets for May 3. Pretty competitively priced, at least.

I get paid opening night, so I'm still holding off on getting a ticket until then. The lack of hype isn't making me in a rush.

I'll go, have fun, but I'm expecting the worst hoping for the best. Low expectations.

I’m definitely not as hyped now as I was when it was first announced, but my logic is that I’d rather still go and support the event on the ground floor of its existence in the hopes it can only get bigger and better moving forward with feedback, etc., rather than not go, it flops due to low attendance, and Universal decides to not try anything like it again for years, if ever.

I’ll be there opening night, mostly because I want to document as much as I can since the event will invariably evolve over the years — assuming it continues, which if not it’ll still make a fun time capsule.

Planning to go opening night and then in May. I'm really hoping this event does well considering they're already seeming to bring over stuff from USJ for the anime stuff, like the JJK 4D show.

I feel like this is the only way we're getting those anime 4D shows stateside and I want to support that. I'm especially hoping JoJo's gets the DreamWorks theater in a 2026 FFN considering the Part 7 anime just got announced too. They could easily cash in on that and ultimately lead to more people eventually picking it up.

I do wonder if the theater was designed to use glasses if they wanted to, even if they'd only use it for events like this if FFN is successful enough.
