Pyro design is actually very complicated. Its not that easy for a ride like that, with a very sensitive computer system in place and many little factors that could cause a huge disaster. And with USH and their history of fires...it just seems like an unneeded risk. Maybe I'm just being old and crotchety. I dunno... I just don't see the big deal.

It's not a big deal at all, I still love the ride as is and I KINDA understand why they didn't include fire. I still think it sucks though, considering it wasn't impossible to include.

I think rider safety has very little to do with Transformers not having fire. I think it has more to do with the cost of constructing a building to accommodate fire.

X2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain has been shooting jets of fire at riders safely for 5+ years now.

Exactly! It's not impossible. If they made modifications and actually designed it to have fire, it would've been quite impressive.

I wish there were more physical elements as well. Like, if they knock down something on the screen, it triggers something to physically fall as well, etc. Like Earthquake and Spiderman.

I would've loved having fire in Transformers. I just find that fire in theme park attractions makes things more interesting and action-packed, but I'd rather have the current faux fire effect as opposed to nothing.

Obviously better than nothing. I just wish there was more fire in the rides. It's quite impressive. I love having fire in Indiana Jones.

Like...every damn ride and show at USH utilizes (unnecessary) water effects...Let's use more fire!

Well, there's one problem: guests can't die if they're pummeled with water. ;)

Now hearing the current record is 1915 guests per hour. I'm not sure how they managed to increase the turnover from around 1600, but whatever they're doing - it's working. Hollywood is still ahead of Florida.

10 stranded? Gosh the media loves being over dramatic. When I was stuck on Transformers a few months back for well over half an hour or more, EVERYONE was stranded and everyone had to be evacuated after sitting around for what felt like forever. This is not newsworthy whatsoever....

I can imagine the call to 911 from Jurassic Park..

Operator: 911 emergency, how can we help?

Rider: IM STUCK ON JURASSIC PARK, THE DINOSAURS ARE GOING TO EAT ME!!!!

Operator:.............

And te fact that the news reported that the firefighters "trying to get people off the car". All they had to do was to use the lever on the side of the train. Lol

I don't deny that firefighters were involved, but it is odd that the AP filled a report about it on their wire service. That's why CNN and others picked it up.

Unless the ride vehicle burst into flames or started spinning 50MPH in place non-stop, there was no need to the firefighters. At all.

We don't know what happened, so let's not gauge whether or not the use of firefighters was an appropriate measure. Universal knows what they're doing, and they have a better grasp of the situation than we do.

Acourding to USH wait time app, Transformers has a 3-hour wait right now and will be open until 11pm.

When the line is at 100 minutes, they shut single rider down. Maybe its less, but I've done single rider on Trans at 80 minute wait, and been turned away at 100.

Really? When I went, at a 110 minute wait, they left single riders open to encourage people to wait less in line and ride faster.
