I have a feeling they're going to Surf Dracula the hat. I honestly prefer no hat in live action too.

God these costumes look really good. The infusion of multiple styles with the costume designs makes me adore it.

I actually like Link not having the hat in this case--as it allows us to focus in on his face and how he emotes and expresses. Zelda having mini-triforces on the shoulder point of her shirt is also great.

I hope we at least get a nod of his hat even though I've already knew they would probably ditch it for his main look for the movie

It's been a moment, but I'm totally chill without the hat. I think it looks way goofier in live-action, and BoTW shows that Link as a character is iconic far beyond his traditional attire.

I believe ditching the hat will only make him feel more grounded, which I think should be a good thing for the main character in a high-fantasy environment.
