YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I've been wanting a wrestling house ever since my first HHN and this is a dream come true with the Wyatt Sicks. Definitely my most anticipated house of the year and I'm just, so happy dude. Really hoping they can pull this off.

First. I'm just glad that I have a good reason to wear my Bray shirt to HHN again (other than it being a sweet shirt).



Second. I wanted to point out that Jason Baker did the design for all of the Wyatt's current costumes. He also did the design for the mask in The Black Phone, and came from the Tom Savini school.

If we get some more of his influence in this house, it will have some really cool design elements at the very least. That's a big reason why it's high on my list.

I have zero interest in WWE or really the backstory for this house, but I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it as an original house based on Leatherface's cousins who live in the Bayou and are obsessed with wrestling and stalked by one of their alter egos. That's my mentality going into it.

Super happy for all the wrestling fans that have been asking for it.

Regarding the WWE logo on the keyart (from the main spec thread), I think that's no different than when Fangoria sponsored a house or two back in the day, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, AMC's the Walking Dead, any of the Blumhouse houses that solely featured those movies and nothing Blumhouse-specific like slipping characters from other movies into them, etc.

Prob both.

Bray Wyatt had several personas that embodied horror aspects. His first gimmick leaned heavily on a Max Cady meets Bayou Cult. His 2nd was a demented Mr. Roger’s.

This will probably give you a good idea of what the tone of the house will be.

Elevator pitch:

The most horror adjacent that I've seen wrestling get. There are also a lot of psychological and esoteric elements to them that you could follow down a deep (ramblin') rabbit hole.

If you end up intrigued by them, there's a great Bray Wyatt documentary on Peacock.

Imagine if Mister Roger’s Neighborhood of Make-Believe was actually another dimension full of creatures who only look like puppets, but Fred Rogers was evil, and he was harboring demons inside the puppets. Then those puppets possessed his human friends.

I do feel “Windham Rotunda” is a much cooler wrestling name than Bray Wyatt.
