As someone who gave up a decade ago or more, is this actually something from the show?

I actually did a search before I posted about this yesterday and couldn't find anything about it. So I'm gonna go with... nope.

For how much money Dufftoberfest makes them, I'm shocked they didn't try to come up with a summer seasonal much sooner.

Nice! Trying to get out to Fan Fest and was hoping we'd be able to get it!

Here's my 'simplest moments are often the best' story....It was the last full day of our June two week vacation with the girls. Another day with full sun early and high 90's temperature, unbearably hot. During our vacation (Portofino & Cabana Bay) we had accumulated around 20 complimentary Express passes due to various ride breakdowns, so I saved them for this last day so the girls could get a ton of rides in. Except for the Mummy & Gringotts, that Layla and Alene didn't want to ride that day, I sat out the rides so the three (Layla, Alene and Scarlett) of them could get the maximum use out of the Express passes. They all really loved the Simpson's ride. They had a total of 7 or 8 times riding it on the vacation. So they wanted to do back to back rides......Now, I don't care for beer, besides Guinness, so I rarely ever drink it. Mostly I drink wine (which I make) or mixed drinks. I hadn't been to Duffs Brewery since the early days of the Springfield redo when we met a couple from this forum there. So, with nothing to do, I thought I'd sit in the shade of the bar while I waited, and damn it, actually have a beer. I ordered a Duff's regular and a pretzel with the spiced cheese. The beer was super cold, and that made the taste really great and it quickly satisfied my thirst. The pretzel was a perfect accompaniment, and the bartender was super friendly and courteous. That super cold beer was soooo good, I don't think I ever had one that tasted better for the moment. I drank it and ordered another. Sitting there, beer in hand, in the quiet of the bar was very relaxing and so comfortable on that hot hot hot day. Two beers in the heat, and I had a buzz. One of my best moments of the vacation, that had tons of high points.

With Disney now owning the Simpsons what’s the future for the land and ride? Do you guys see universal extending the contract? There’s also been talk Disney would sell the rights to universal. What could replace the land if universal doesn’t extend the contract?

Maybe Hopefully Back to the future the ride would be better bring back to universal theme parks as retro original form the way it should be except more restore digital way. That is my hope but right now it’s a rumor at the moment until universal announce whichsoever might be yet to come.

I've mentioned it a few times, but grabbing tacos from Bumblebee Man and sitting at Duff Gardens is my literal favorite thing to do at Universal lol
