I can't help but wonder if UC might look at what WDI did with Zootopia in Shanghai as a direct inspo for the sake of the creatures being represented throughout the land.

A mixture of puppets from Jim Henson Creature Workshop (with how much they've been working with UDX I wonder if UC wants to eventually bring them on for a permament project) + Animatronics (from the likes of Garner Holt, Creature Technologies or whoever) that are operated either automatically (or in the case of the former, as a result of live entertainment streetmosphere).

Personally speaking--it would do a lot to help boost Pokemon feeling *alive* within the land that UC is creating for the respective parks that are getting Pokemon in a notable way.

No need to look at Disney when Berk is right there.

I forgot about Berk, but might I argue Zootopia still; for the sake of the more compact and dense cityscape element; and if Pokemon has elements of a city-like environment, that the Zootopia example is still valid.

Also admit it, Jim Henson Creature Workshop Pokemon Puppets would slap hard.

Assuming they do a lot with floats and costumed Pokemon like USJ has, I hope they keep that over in USF. Those walk around Poke costumes look so stupid and won't help with immersion in the land. I hope any meet and greets in the IOA land are handled like Toothless or the baby dinos in JP where they are more realistic and characters are to scale. I'd rather have trainers/professors holding a small Pikachu rather than a 7ft tall goofy looking costumed Pikachu running around the land.

100%. Telling someone who knows nothing about the IP to walk around and hold this ball up to the statues of creatures hidden throughout the land to 'catch' them while linked to the app is much simpler than teaching them about catching, leveling up, different attacks they learn, typing/strengths/weaknesses, and battling mechanics.

I could see it like those games Disney has done, where you kind of follow a quest and cool interactive things happen?

Or elements of that. Make it interactive, with innovative practical effects.

Universal has worked way more with other vendors than Jim Henson Creature Shop.

Super Nintendo World, Berk, and Paris all have animated and interactive elemtents based on animals and creatures in the land. It's easy to see how they could follow that template with Pokemon.

Strong disagree. I wanna hug a big, soft Pikachu. Immersion is not as fun as a hugging a big, soft guy.

And the Entertainment writer ghosts of corny jokes, bad scripts have to find a new place to hang out.

Sindbad, you could have been a star. The stunts were excellent. But the writer put non sensical corny words in your mouth that even a child would look down on.
