Anyone else have a very slight suspicion that they're messing with us and the "wet" path will just be air cannons or a flower squirter? Seems like a prank that Art would do right before a final scare at the exit.

MAJOR spoilers linked in the video below. It’s for Hollywood but I think it gives a decent representation what Orlando could be like.

TikTok Walkthrough

This one’s gonna be a skip from me. I don’t need to walk through
pornographic levels of sexual violence enacted on women then immediately get hit in the face with scented poop covered underwear.

I broke down and spoiled myself with a couple TikToks. And yeah, while the event has never shied away from NC-17 level gore, there was always an unwritten rule (or maybe written by Standards & Practices?) re: full-frontal nudity. I don't ever recall it. Hell, even Chucky's f-bombs were censored. We'll see how the parents of the Five Nights crowd take it.
...

Unrelated, but in my anticipated houses post I mentioned a few scenes in Terrifier 1 felt directly ripped from 00s HHN houses. Finally slogged my way through the somehow even worse Terrifier 2 -- and the fun house door is obviously Jack the Clown. Not even a pastiche, it's just a straight up Jack. Can't tell me the creator wasn't drinking next to me at Finns at some point. This is a house inspired by a movie inspired by previous houses -- that could turn out very good or very boring.

That's where my head's at. Probably just a bunch of hype for something that will be pretty minimal. Reminds me of how Universal kept touting the "Silence Is Golden" interactions for A Quiet Place, only for that to be a bunch of baloney.

Hollywood has had full frontal before. Orlando never has. Orlando has always been a more “self-censored” event because Florida is the on the fringes of the Bible-belt.

Now, that isn’t to say Terrifier in Orlando won’t cross lines they’ve never crossed before. I don’t know if they do or don’t. I’ve been trying to avoid spoilers this year. But, I also wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood is still far more graphic than Orlando is.

I was thinking of the SAW maze Hollywood did. That had outright female nudity with one of the corpses (film accurate).

I'll admit I've been a bit surprised by some of the stuff we've been seeing from these influencer previews on the west coast, for better or worse. We'll see how far Florida takes it.

I think the thing that worries me is how 'clean' everything looks in Hollywood's version. Some rooms just don't have enough blood to truly give it the extra needle it needs. The kills look great but they really need to dirty up the areas around them. Even the bathroom has a couple of weirdly clean spots when it really shouldn't. I hope that they're not actually done set dressing the maze and they are still going to add more but as it is, the set dressing isn't as intense as the concept art made it seem.

That's what I was hoping for. Also, don't know why some of y'all are thinking that Hollywood's will be more graphic than Florida's. A good thing to bring up is how Hollywood will have the
hacksaw kill in its maze and Florida will have various bodies getting the hacksaw treatment.

I mean, Legacy just laid out why many are making that assumption. Hollywood has historically veered closer to an X rating, whereas Orlando has a habit of shying away from the most extreme stuff (or anything perceived as especially likely to offend the state's more conservative residents, such as explicit references to god or religion outside of, say, Exorcist).

Hollywood's using the
hacksaw kill because it's an existing apparatus they built for the Freaky portion of the Blumhouse maze. They used it in Weeknd last year, too. It's a cost efficiency, not necessarily because they're playing it safe gore-wise.

Not related to the current discussion but it just occurred to me- they did mention some new kills as well, wouldn't be surprised to see Art activating Ol' Smokey somewhere in here.
