It's all how it's portrayed. We had a sawed body last year, and no one batted an eye, but if you show how it's done... that changes the effect. It's not the blood per se, it's the brutality.

100%. This is what I've been saying from the beginning. The aftermath of the kills isn't much worse, if not just about equal to what we saw in triplets of terror last year. The reason why Terrifier is such a new thing for films and not a new thing for houses is the focus on the actual details and lingering on the actions of the kills in the movie.

The movies are definitely semi-controversial and divisive. I see a couple of things coming from the house in particular. Probably the general audience going through and saying "wow that was gory", the Terrifier fans enjoying it because it's their "thing", and then us here going through and realizing it isn't at all as crazy as expected.

The thing I'M looking the least forward to is the smells. The blood and gore won't bother me in a house, but please don't make me smell the poopy bathroom, my dudes.

I agree, Saws and Steam had a waterfall so I’m not sure how they’ll top that. I think the idea of getting guests soaked in any attraction is funny and a tiny bit sadistic (looking at you Bluto’s and Ripsaw), which in turn would be quite fitting for this property.

There are a lot of good scenes from the films though that make sense in why this house will be have a lot of water effects from the upside down bisected body victim to the bathroom scene in Terrifier 3, yeah this house is really hit people lol
