It's official--the followup to Superman is releasing on July 9th, 2027. Titled Superman: Man of Tomorrow, James Gunn will be returning to write and direct the caped superhero flick.

Gunn's pace is genuinely wild. Less than two years between this and the first Superman, all while mixing in Peacemaker Season 2 and other things in between.

I hope I like the next one more....love the moral of the first film but....I want a movie more about Superman. I feel like having Mr Terriffic having a cooler scene then the main character was nice for the other actor but Superman should be having the biggest moments but felt like his fights mostly were kind of for me boring

So I just hope its more him and exploring lex more

I'm glad its been greenlit and sure I've heard rumblings that the big bad will be Braniac, it would be a good idea to give Luthor a rest and personally I'd like to see a more spacebound adventure, something like Thor:Ragnarok.
