What did they do? Was it back when Super Mario Odyssey was being promoted or is this something in USJ?

SNW had a tech showcase of Power Up Bands in NYC in November of 2019, where they had given people the chance to do jump and hit item blocks. It was also where they would've had an award them to visit when they opened officially to the public before Covid.

Wouldn't bet on it being a large scale attraction though

Calling it now - Our exclusive will be that Mario Kart is called 'The Ride' in 10ft high letters.... or we are opening the land with a VR version of Donkey Kong Coaster to save on space

That would make a great night show for SNW. Have the live jazz band from the game and have a digital mapping show of Mario going through the buildings.

I really Hope that while we get Mario shows that they are open to making Kirby/Spatoon and other shows as well with projection mapping.

Feels like an easy win, you get to advertise a new game and we get a new 5 min show.

Has to be a flat ride, right? Something utilizing the mountain where Yoshi was supposed to be. Maybe a small drop tower of some kind?

It would be amazing if true simply from the fact that there’s been minimal rumors or leaks on it. Has anyone figured out the California side of permits?

[/SPOILER]Ah, so it appears the Mario Kart attraction's title here is "Mario Kart Grand Prix". Definitely better than just "The Ride" but still lamer than "Bowser's Challenge"

Is this even an English version of identical merch in Japan? Because this same piece of merch was there back during the limited pop-up, so I'm not sure if it's set in stone just yet.
