Honestly, with the DK expansion opening in 2024 (that still shocks me), I'm expecting Hollywood in 2023 now.

I don’t see how that’s possible as they haven’t torn down the stages behind SNW Hollywood yet to make that happen!

Pacific Fun is alluding to that DK for Osaka is 2024 if I'm not mistaken. A result of likely a few factors more than one.

I honestly will be shocked if SNW is 2023 for Hollywood. It feels like something that could still work well for a Late Summer/Early Fall deal if there's issues on fabrification.

This is still a 2022 opening. From what I've heard, there's consequences to this opening later than next year.

As in, financial consequences if they don't have it ready by the end of the year? Or executive consequences, with house cleaning?

More on the former, but there is part of the latter though I don't believe it will necessarily be house cleaning.

So if they can't get this thing to open on time, expect more black wallz and repeatz for HHN next year. Got it.

Well, I was partially joking, but given how much they LOVE to cut corners for HHN, this would be totally believable.

Is part of the hold up due to the supply chain backup? Or purely to save on labor costs?

More of the former. The latter was a problem in the height of the pandemic.

Another construction update:

That structure in the center next to Mount Beanpole seems to be Bowser’s Castle and presumably the Mario Kart attraction entrance.

If it is, I wonder how that’s gonna tie into the show building since unlike in Japan, it seems a bit more disconnected from it than the one there?

It's Universal, I'm sure it will find a way that leads us to the building where the attraction's ride will take place.

I know, I'm just curious to how it all comes together, which is intriguing.

Is it still possible Universal can finish construction on Nintendo World in 7 to 8 months? Seems like they are a long way from completing this in time for a Summer opening.

I don't think it's a coincidence the Mario movie is opening in Holiday 2022 and this looks to be aiming for late 2022.
