Apparently USH team members were sent emails today telling them the details and date of when team member previews for Super Nintendo World will take place. Does anyone here know when that'll happen? I'd imagine it will take place earlier than the AP previews, right?

I'd be incredibly surprised if they put it separate from the main Nintendo area. Pokemon feels much more likely to happen over DK.

Actually, that's a narrow viewpoint. Express, no matter how great the benefit may be, will always impact the stand-by waits. The point is to maintain the flow of the queue and minimize waits as much as possible. It's worked out pretty damn well for Orlando when they've opened new attractions.

SNW is not Pets or JW. This is going to be a big deal. Only allowing a handful of people access will not inflate the waits at all in comparison to normal access.

The line for this I hope reflects what you think but if its 2-3 hours daily then I see no difference but once again pricing it where you have to pay 500+ bucks for a FP is insane.

If the line is short, I will say I'm was wrong but I just doubt it...so now we just will have super high standby times and only the super rich get to pass the line.

So you're saying if the line is already long, they should make it longer? I don't really understand. With VIP, you're not just buying a fast pass but a fundamentally different experience. It's a personal, premium, tour of the park so it'd be strange to not have front-of-the-line access for this attraction, it's basically the same as what they do in Orlando iirc. Including Express would just back up lines more so this is a win (and those aren't exactly affordable so the "super rich" comment doesn't make a ton of sense).

The alternative is an HHN 2022 situation where so many people have Express that the standby line takes like twice as long or more than what it should.

I'm fine with no one having express on this ride but to have ONE option that is 400 Bucks per person...or wait.

It just rubs me the wrong way

Different park ops but, does VIP at UOR get one-time express to Hagrid's and Velocicoaster?

You say this like people are spending "500+ bucks" just to cut the line at SNW. Like, bro, come on. They're paying for more than that, as they always have, and Mario Kart is just one more ride added to their line privileges. And considering there's barely half a dozen VIP time slots a day and only 18 people per tour slot, meaning a hundred or so VIP people a day, if that, there's going to be an absolutely trivial impact on standby times unlike if Express was available. You're acting like thousands of "super rich" people are gonna be buying up VIP tours and holding up the standby line every single day, when VIP is already and will continue to be an extremely limited thing where that won't even be possible.

How is this any different than normal? Express isn't cheap. If anything, VIP only Express will help a ton.

Wrong. It will come, I just doubt it will be in the traditional sense where both lands are connected.

Chris would they be in theory close to one another/on the same level. Maybe across?

So there may be a clause that Mario/Super Nintendo must be at a resort before they can get an additional Nintendo property, or Pokémon?

I think what Alicia is alluding to is that all the Universal properties set to receive a SNW signed up for both Mushroom Kingdom/ Donkey Kong Country, including USH.

I would imagine it will be just behind where our current SNW stands, but all I know is that it's coming and as far as Nintendo IP themed lands for USH, it will end there.

I really expect SNW to be virtual queue only for the first few months… if not more. That land will be packed from rope drop.

I hope thats for for now

If this land is a hit and they dont add Zelda and Pokemon.....I think the current people in charge need to be let go for those who want the parks to become a resort they need IP's as strong as Disney has and Nintendo is clearly popular and when you have people in a 40+ min line for a over priced drink/popcorn bucket for a land/ride that isn't even open yet....let alone before the film hits theaters. I just can't see if this land doubles the amount of APs and gets more people in the gate how anyone could argue we should only see DK and Mario in the this park

That gives me a threatening aura vibe, one I felt slightly while trying to get past the crowds in the Springfield cluster in HHN...

Slow your roll buddy and talk about jumping to conclusions. I agree with you to some extent but geez cut USH some slack.
