That picture does a good job to reiterate that the land will be mirrored and there WON'T be a Yoshi omnimover. My guess is the entrance to Boswer's Castle will still be on a second floor of some sort, with the bridge that currently acts as support for Yoshi's Adventure being a walkway to get into Mario Kart. That area looks like prime real estate for entrance into a DKC...

But the ride is not coming...so why is it being referenced as the pathway to mario kart in hollywood?

I'm suggesting the Bridge that Yoshi's Adventure is situated on, the one that goes over the land in USJ, may still be found here, just as a pathway/ queue into Mario Kart (if the queue has outside portions).

Real nice to see the framework for the entrance pipe on the third and fourth pictures.

Looks like there's a tunnel near Transformers that would allow guests to enter through there to SNW

Still no sign of where the big concrete staircase up to the end level might go :look:

Is it just the angle or has more of the hills scenery been added?

Honestly, I can't tell, but it seems most of the work so far has been within certain buildings where they're still wide open for construction. Let's hope by summer, they finish sealing the buildings so they can create Nintendo stores and rides.

It's looking more likely that Peach's Castle is going to be at ground level and that you will have to go "upstairs" to ride MK. I actually thinks this makes more sense from a design perspective as 1) There's less space to work with so you have to only put in what you need. Not really any reason to add a stairway that goes into the ground when creating more stairs requires space and the secondary ride that enters down there has been eliminated. 2) When you enter, you can see everything above you making it a more powerful "grand reveal."

I think you are talking about the concrete entrance staircase, I was talking about the one below up to the MK Entrance.
They are going to need some way to get people up to the 2nd level.

Plot twist: Hollywood is one level and you go upstairs in the Mario Kart queue itself.

Even bigger plot twist: That entrance pipe is actually the entrance to the Mario Kart queue; to enter the land you go through the Panda Express's kitchen

Can't wait to see what SNW Hollywood is really like during HHN. SNW would play scary-related music from the old to new days.

Wasn’t the subject discussed extensively in this thread back in August? I remember the common consensus being that we’d probably get nothing more than spooky music, like something from Luigi’s Mansion, and maybe some seasonal character costuming, but that’d probably be it.

If I recall, someone even made a good point, which I agree with, that Uni would probably keep SNW closed at night during the event itself anyway because it would motivate more people to spend money on day tickets to experience it while also preserving cost. (And even if it is open during HHN, there’s no world in which SNW houses a scare zone or a maze or even mature decorations.)

I think character costuming/music is the ceiling of what one could - but not should, IMO - expect to see.

Yes, there was an extensive discussion on what would happen for SNW during HHN. @Chris Galindo said though that SNW is going to have "streetmasphere" during the day so some Power-Up bands themed to the season and the AR goggles having some boos I guess.

SNW is going to be closed during HHN. Bet. Potter has always been closed during HHN and even then they reluctantly opened Potter a few times for the last year of HHN because people were complaining. About the crowds. Potter costs money to keep open, especially SNW.
