one of the silliest and most ridiculous thing I saw was people using the new ai from China to "fix" the ending of stranger things lol
(apparently some new ai that just released over there recently or something, called seedance?)
Instagram pages keep sharing the new "fixed" endings because there's like 5 different ones lol
made me laugh so much

stranger things: tales from 85,
really annoying art style, I just can't get into it. the whole time it just looks unfinished. really weird shadowing.
some weird uncanny valley going on.
and the voice over is terrible... big yikes.
I can understand some limitations of finding similar voice actors, but this is really bad.

I'll watch the whole thing just to see how it goes....but is not great.... kinda ugly.


(I know that the walking dead videogames had that same art style but I never liked it back then either, it's really weird looking. looks ugly )

Wait, it's not the same kids? Other than Sadie Sink, what pressing roles are they taking that they can't show up for a couple days of voice-over work?

I think they are largely just done with it all. It has been over half their lives at this point.

full cast seems to be new. looks like it.
Hopper is awful lol.
I don't wanna sound like a bitter hater, I watched it with open mind. I didn't watch it with hatred,

but is just rough, dialogue is really really bad
"how do you do fellow kids meme" bad
delivery is really bad on some stuff ( the new character Nikki is really bad, just really bad )
story seems pretty generic, just more of the same

this show has the same problem the Black Widow movie had ( or other prequels always have)
where we know how it ends so you're kind of annoyed when the story is more of the same but it's kind of annoying.

The issue is money. That size of the (massive) cast's paychecks was a big reason why the budget ballooned as wildly as it did in the later seasons. I'm guessing that, even for VO only, the cost was just too great to justify for a side project. We'll see if that was the right call...
