Interesting. Is this the lagoon show or a second stage show?

Whatever it is very cool

I'm not a ST fan but this feels like something that should be very popular

Can I ask why?

From what I've seen online its basically WOC but Universal themed.....I'd take that at USH in second

It's likely the Lagoon Show from what I'm hearing.

I honestly think that it could be pretty bombastic.

We'd all prefer something more "HHN Themed" for an anniversary year. But ST has plenty of iconic moments and music. That's what you need for a good Lagoon Show.

ST had vibes and music to spare so I think this will be a huge hit.

I'm curious to see what music we'll hear in this. Think they'll be able to get licensed music, or it'll be all the original score?

From what I remember they couldn't get the actual songs of Master of Puppets or Running Up That Hill for the house.. but maybe they can make it happen now?

I'm wondering if it wasn't "couldn't get the music", as much as it's "didn't want to pay for the license" for the houses. The fee might have been too high for the amount of time that the song would have been heard.

That math would likely be very different in a full audio/visual show.

Pretty positive it's the lagoon show. Makes sense when you think about it because the description says to "relive favorite moments from the series" so seems like they'll just project a bunch of "best hits" clips from the show onto the lagoon.

Yeah hearing a song for maybe 5 seconds while walking through a room vs hearing the full song in a show is different.

Done right, this could be much better than the house. Music rights will be key, tho.

I think while we want this to feel like a big anniversary year that outside of a few things here and there, it's pretty low key. Or am I reading it wrong?

I guess this is their solve for getting "the parts of Stranger Things people actually still like" into the event, but I'm bummed it's replacing the traditional lagoon show. Ghoulish and Marathon of Mayhem were very repeatable to me, I'd stop and watch them once a visit. This will probably be a one and done for me for the whole season, unless it turns out to be insanely well-executed.

Just off the top of my head:

Stranger Things theme and "Kids"
Running up that Hill
Master of Puppets
Purple Rain
Separate Ways
and if they can pull it off... The NeverEnding Story

I loved MoM but IMO it went down hill since.
