Any insight as to what those future several attractions would be/been?

Total renovation was planned. Mostly food and entertainment and a complete retheme, similar to Great Adventure's boardwalk project. The goal was to make the top of the mountain come alive again. I'm honestly not sure if any of that is still happening. But movement on Laughing Dragon signals the beginning of something.

@Southerncoasterer by chance, like SFGADV, would they of considered a similar Spike Coaster for the sake of Magic Mountain in the process of a renovation?

Ours would be a smaller coaster investment than Great Adventure's, because of the money required to reopen the Sky Tower.

I've sinced moved from SFMM to Universal. So I can't say for sure what Mike Oerding has planned. He gets total control going forward over the future of the park.

I'm fascinated to see what direction he takes. Everything past the Thrill Glider will be him.

I just want to shout out the Six Flags MM team

I've had a fun time at the DC Hero's and Villains Fest

Combined with the new Looney Tunes land, which is just nice to walkthrough we also have the Looney Tunes show on weekends along with Drivin Mama Crazy playing live music

Six Flags is offering a solid enough summer, I'll be going for my last two DC heros events this weekend along with seeing the Friday night Fireworks.

Kids seem to like all the games with the Villains, the photo op lines normally get lines and the Joker and Harley always bring fun moments to the event.

Only thing I wish could change is more Looney Tunes Meet and greets later in the day they are done by 3:30 PM and the parks closes at 10 PM and they have this new land that feels like the characters should be roaming them more, hopefully by the holidays they can get more characters out

I’m not opposed to adding a well-done family coaster like the rumor suggests. Heck I don’t even mind Gold Rusher being replaced by it. My concern is that I don’t think family coasters will work well for SFMM.

SFMM has already been established by the SoCal crowd, for better or for worse, as the roller coaster park. They found their niche and it seems to work.

Adding a family coaster doesn't suddenly change the park's identity or make it less of a coaster park. It only adds some variety to the lineup.

In my Ideal world we get

1) Big Coaster first
2) Then a family coaster
3) Something to replace Justice League
4) another Big Coaster replacing something like Viper

This is mostly for the bigger things at the park besides adding more shade and entertainment

I don't disagree. I think having a fun Dollywood-calibur family coaster would add a LOT to the park....it's just that the one major coaster that SFMM doesn;t have that it could really use is that giga.

I'm tired of Six Flags and (Especially Knott's) Giga-edging us for years. That kind of teasing drives. a man insane.
