Various updates:

The candy demo is a very nice throwback to when this area of the park was Spilliken Corners. For you young 'uns, that was an area of the park that featured craftsmen with candle dipping, weaving, glass making, etc. (all where the Underground area is now). And candy making was also a part of it, in the same location where they are doing this mini-show now! Show is only on weekends, and they will make something different for each show. For the 1pm, they made brittle, but said they were going to make candied apples at the 3pm, and something else at 5pm. And they give out samples at the end! The candy is actually packaged and sold in the park, usually the day after it's made.

While rumors from team members should always be taken with a grain of salt, an employee said that they hope X2 will be up to 2 train ops by summer, and that Drop of Doom is still awaiting an expensive part, which is why it's still down.

Confirming the tents and completely down for both Saw and Trick 'r Treat. Saw has very little left on site, save for some random electronics and scaffolding... no visible props. Trick r' Treat has all its walls piled up, and props are still out for what ever that's worth.

Also, at the moment, the majority of the Looney Tunes area is behind construction walls.

There's also a lot of ride and park specific merch in the parks right now as well.

Just got done with a two day trip out to Magic Mountain. This is the first time I've been back since my 2022 visit where I only got on four coasters, and it went so much better this time!

Takeaways:
  • Twisted Colossus is my new favorite coaster, and that's from someone who thinks Iron Gwazi is only good and not great. Holy crap.
  • I didn't realize how rough X2 is on an outside seat. I rode it on an inside seat back in 2022 and thought the roughness complaints were exaggerated. Nope. Riding Tatsu in the back and then an outside seat on X2 within 20 minutes of each other was a mistake. I had to take a break for an hour. X2 needs a partial retrack.
  • Both Tatsu and X2 were on one train ops both days and for the two most popular rides in the park that's inexcusable. I waited two hours for Tatsu the first time and the bottom switchbacks were only halfway full. Thankfully the park was extremely slow the second day and the waits were only 20 minutes each.
  • The park as a whole needs better food options. At the very least it needs more unique food.
  • Why does Justice League have no music? It feels like the ride could be vastly improved by adding that alone.
  • Six Flags really has to do something about the top of the mountain. It's only Ninja and the Magic Mover right now. Build a new restaurant up there at least!
  • Goliath is so mid it's not even funny. I can't believe a hyper coaster is that boring.
  • The park lacks a standout launch coaster. Full Throttle and West Coast Racers are fine, but they're both extremely short (especially FT, brakes on the drop are you serious). I actually think the 2027 coaster is the perfect fit. Unique, uses the terrain, and super long.
Park was pretty solid overall! Great rides, nice staff, gorgeous location. Just needs some more money poured into the park itself and not more new rides. The new kids section is a great step in the right direction. Hopefully some new food, getting the observation tower up and running, and some retracking on X2 and Apocalypse are next.

Chicken and Waffles, The BBQ place and Quesadilla are what I'd recommend people try at the park

Also most of Looney Tunes land is now closed and Lex Luther opens May 8th

I'll be honest and say it was my first time having it, but it was hot and tasted good to me just a few weeks ago.

Its something I'd for sure grab again, if I was in the mood
