Here is the new Concert Art Map that is on the construction for the new land. I added some notes to them along with the Map with no extra words

Some notes
1) Its march and they still have 2 sections to complete and we are no where near part one being done...so I wonder if Summer means like July- September because as of now, not sure if this will be done by June and even early July. I hope I'm wrong but The Taz area is still all dirt

2) They added some red ropes where you meet the Looney Tunes Characters in the front of the park. This will hopefully help with people just cutting lines off to meet the characters

3) Batman and Daffy were the only two characters on Saturday

4) I tried the Chicken and Waffles, its was good. The Waffles aren't as good as the ones at HP Universal restaurant but the chicken matched with it well. Its great for the dinning pass but will say one more piece of Chicken would be nice, Mine had 3 and it was pretty filling but for 22 bucks think another piece of Chicken would be nice

5) They are still letting people with the best pass to go park in lot A and B if there is room, great update to the policy because at Knotts I almost always park at the best parking but at MM, unless I roped dropped mostly they didn't want you parking in the front lots even with the parking included before this year

Back to normal with the one train operations...haha. Don't know why people go to this park. It, in my opinion, has gone downhill so much they can't fix anything.

I wish both Knotts and Six Flags could get lines to move faster

No idea if this would just require more training or what

To answer your question, its because of how cheap APs are...I paid 175 and got all six flags parks and includes parking, thats just a steal. Even USH which had fair AP prices, the highest pass is still like 600 dollars and gold is 300. So if you want a park to go to alot and doesn't cost much Six Flags/Knotts are very much worth it

While I concur one train ops isn't great, the other option is to close the ride entirely, which I feel is worse. And that used to be the default for the park for years. One infamous visit I had in the early 2000s, there were literally more closed rides than open (it was about 8 coasters closed on a single day). That was definitely a low point.

I think the fact they actually try to keep rides open is definitely a step in the right direction, and is showing some improvement. Honestly, the number of rides that are completely closed has reduced a LOT.

With a year round park, you're nearly always going to have to have a few rides closed for refurbishment (even Disney has to close rides during the year for this). But way more rides are open in general than ever before.

https://ktla.com/news/theme-parks/magic-mountain-hit-with-533m-value-drop-in-six-flags-reassessment/

Park value dropped by over half a billion dollars.

Don’t know how none of the acquisition executives saw this. Park has always been poorly managed and seen as an inferior product to everything else offered in SoCal.

This kind of sets off a lot of warning signs to me. Have to wonder how much SFMM gets downscaled considering the residential restrictions coming up more and more properly, alongside the ballooning in budget for what I presume is of the Vekoma Thrill Glider and the hillside grading.

I wonder if this hits seasonal offerings hard first in order to preserve whatever budget they can for upcoming large scale projects like the thrill glider.

If they start cutting things they are going to hurt more

Like that’s the one thing I point to that has impoved

If you have one train ops with no good events…like I don’t know how you’d make more money

Six flags MM needs more investment not less

I agree this isn’t good but if they pull back more I just can’t imagine how you’d make more money

I said over a year ago that the park was downgraded by the Cedar Fair execs from a top tier park to a mid tier one, and I got some push back. In the new chain it's in the middle of the pack, not near the top.

It will see investment to try and bring it up to par, but if that doesn't work the investments will stop, as they focus on Great America, Fiesta, Cedar Point , Canada Wonderland ect.

Six Flags really did a number on this park. Kicking the can down the road on park maintenance, upkeep, food, non coaster attractions and a sense of atmosphere and charm. Instead, throwing in a new mid coaster every 2-3 to cover up for a rundown park.

One bright spot is Hurricane Harbor. The big guys absolutely love it.

They need to find a way to get Hurricane Harbor open more

We are hot in Sepetmeber and October and some might be in the pool all day and be down for coasters and fright fest at nightime

I agree, if the investment in the next two years doesn't pay off the park is in a bad spot but.....I'm sorry we aren't at 100% yet so until then I think Six Flags need to push to get this park to do a few things

1) Minimum two coaster cars on all rides
2) Shade and Mister Fans need to be added everywhere, so summer isn't as bad to visit (Love hero's and Villains fest but dread the weather...its just area with ZERO shade and nothing to really cool you down)
3) More Entertainment, we have a 6 months period with ZERO shows. We need a Looney tunes show for the kids and something in the empty theater...I don't care if its a bubble show, live music or what but you have an empty theater use it
4) Replace Justice League with a dark ride people want to go on and also make sure it can load people faster
5) The food needs to improve but also needs better pricing....its 20 bucks for everything here. I just went to Disneyland and there food is cheaper and better, for example I got a Side salad and Pizza Slice for cheaper then just some Pizza at MM and is even better quality then MM as well
6) Like I said before Hurricane Harbor needs to be open more, its hot most of the year in CA, they need to figure out a way to keep it open more dates....this isn't a cold part of the world and the demand is there
7) Bring back screambreak, yay yay didn't work the first time but I've talked to a bunch of people the event had issues. Have the leads of FF take over and make sure the problems like APs only being allowed in with a reservation
8) I know many will be against this but, if possible move old mazes from Scary Farm to MM, in terms of both scale and popularity Scary Farm mazes being brought over and reused would save money and make the event bigger and better and hopefully be able to grow into something more then it is. (I am fine with FF as is but understand they need to draw more people)

Nothing would say competent management quite like inheriting a flawed park near one of the largest population centers in North America and then dropping an artificial timeline to "turn things around" before cutting investment.

The attitude currently is that they WILL see results, and 5 years from now will be a different conversation. However, there is always a chance that the park’s reputation is damaged beyond what they have the time and money for. At that point we might be looking at a possible sale.
