I mean…realistically who was buying books at the park? For tourists they’re big and heavy, for locals they’re more expensive than what you’d find online. I don’t think closing a book store at a Universal theme park is the ultimate indicator of the death of literature (you can look elsewhere for that, though!)

also as a parent you don't "buy" Dr. Seuss books. they somehow accumulate around your home, spreading like tribbles until you can't walk without stepping on a book about cats, hats, loraxes, etc.

I don’t think we’ll see the removal of Seuss books, just a dedicated book store - which by the time of its end, was just one wall.

As an aside, I can confirm Jake’s post, and that my son loves Hop on Pop and Grinch.

Haley’s favorite book was Seuss’ The Foot Book for a long time, and it still makes her laugh when I get to the page that says “Here comes pig feet!”

Those Seuss books are literally available at every book store an Amazon. Most kids have these books already
