San Diego also had ours removed a few years back that’s leaves Tampa and Williamsburg that can easily be de themed and Orlando the most themed of them all

It has clearly been a hot minute since I’ve gone to SWSD because I had no idea they stripped the Sesame Street theming in those kids rides.

When I was in Singapore in November, I rode that ride. It was very well done but a slow loader.

No surprises here. United has developed a bad reputation of defaulting payments ever since the pandemic. When the Sesame Street area opened in Orlando, it was one of the most immersive "kids lands" in the area. I went back last December and it was in terrible shape after 6 years.

Comcast.

Buy Sesame Street.

It becomes a boon to Peacock.

It anchors Universal Kid Resorts.

It’s a property Dreamworks could do wonders with.

And yeah… it fits in Orlando too.

Are we sure that Disney isn't gonna try and use this to finally get into the Sesame Street game? Worth noting that when Jim Henson negotiated to try and sell The Muppets to Disney back in the 90's, the sticking point was that Michael Eisner also wanted the rights to Sesame Street and Jim said no, those belonged to the producers of Sesame Street and their non-profit educational organization.. so with Jim gone and The Muppets now under Disney's ownership.. who's to say they won't use this as an opportunity to finally try and nab Sesame Street?

Disney site The Dis is pondering this possibility as well. But considering how Disney doesn't seem to put a priority on the Muppets for new content, I personally doubt it.

United Parks and Resorts is essentially everything that is wrong with corporate America today. Investors coming in and bleeding the product dry to better the bottom line and fatten their wallets at the expense of the customer, the employees, the vendors and partners. I hope someday soon a good owner who sees the actual potential will come in and rescue the company that was founded on rescue.

and...it all started with the evil Blackstone Investment Group. Thank god they sold their Universal share to Comcast.......And yes, the Investment groups have stolen/misused pension funds and degraded companies since the 1980's. Not much good can be said about any of them.
