Hey hey hey... let's watch it with that "aging IP" talk.. A Goofy Movie was just released this past April. There's no way its 30 years old & I saw it in theatres or watched it several hundred times at my grandparents house
But in fairness, it would give them an excuse to have a new meet-n-greet/photo-op created in the area. As for the ride itself, two song options "Stand Out" & "Eye to Eye" alternating.
Just because it is a beloved animated movie doesn't mean it needs to be restricted to an all-ages ride. Powerline should've been RNR from day one instead of Aerosmith, but thats Disney's short-sighted decision.
Muppets falls into this same category. However, if they would just bite the bullet & build the "Great Muppet Movie Ride" next to RNR, you'd cater to everyone- thrill seekers & family-friendly.
(Just relocate the Villains show)
