It’s so great to have it back. I noticed minor tiny changes, and fixes. Good to see the mist spray at end of scarab scene timed right for once!

Amazing. I’m having a rough day, and just seeing this, of all things, has made it better! I’m so excited that this’ll likely be open now when I’m there next week. Congrats, everyone! Our support group can now breathe a collective sigh of relief after all this time fretting.

I guess I'm wondering if they ever fixed the deeply flawed lighting on Imhotep I - the arrangement that exposes his robotic arm from start to finish.

It's fine. The skin looks moist, the lighting looks better, but the AA is still the AA.

Yea, I wouldn’t exactly say it’s running “smooth,” but Imhotep is back to being pretty articulated. He still moves like he’s dancing the robot though.

Anyone else notice Reggie looks… cleaner? Maybe freshly rewrapped?

I rode today. Posted wait was 50 minutes, but was really closer to 25. I got chills up my spine as we entered the treasure room... it's so great having the best ride at USF back!

As for the enhancements: the projections are infinitely better now. They no longer feel like blurry relics from 2004. Also, were the projections always high frame rate, or is that new? Don't recall them looking so fluid.

Unexpectedly, my favorite enhancement might be the sudden stop as you reach the fake unload station. I no longer feel like my neck is going to snap, so that's a huge plus. It was always a blemish on the overall experience for me.

Overall, I'd say this was a worthwhile refurbishment. It would have been even better if they'd remastered the queue videos, though -- if they had, it would have felt like a whole new ride.
