I have to say the more I use AI for trip planning the more I really appreciate it. Throughout this thread I’ll show examples of how useful using AI during trip for planning can be! Please follow along our Quick trip post and how we were able to fit so much in using this amazing tool!
This trip was with my husband & son. Before our trip even began I asked Chat “Best trip report site for universal orlando”
Boom- Chat listed this site & it is how I found you fine folks! It also advised that given my party of 3 - I should investigate the cabana bay “family suites” which we ended up staying at & I will give a full review.
Day 1 - May 17th Arrival/ Check in
Drove directly to Cabana Bay Hotel lobby where they have multiple staff out front directing to where you are advised to park your car adjacent to the lobby, walk up and check in at the front desk.
TIP #1 NOTE: there are TWO lines to check in upon arrival. 1- For those who were smart enough to check in online. 2- Those who did not & will end up waiting in quite a long line.
I ended up in line #2 as I missed the email that was sent to me offering PRE- CHECK in. Don’t be like me. Before arrival check for email Subject line “It's Time To Check-in at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort”. Line #1 was much shorter and quicker !
After getting to the front of the line, I asked for a quiet setting as my main priority. Many vacations in the past had been ruined by requesting pool facing only to be kept up to all hours of the night at other resorts so this is our constant request. As it turns out there was some tour group with 100s of high schoolers that were placed in pool facing rooms so this one request saved the day. We were checked into Starlight Family Room 3349 Exterior facing, and other than a little light traffic hum.. it was pristinely quiet. Score!
Per chat description of the family suites “The Cabana Bay family suite is a 430-square-foot, two-bedroom-style suite at Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort that sleeps up to 6 guests. It includes two queen beds, a pull-out sofa, a kitchenette, and a compartmentalized bathroom. It's a strong pick for families or groups who want more space and privacy than a standard hotel room without paying luxury resort prices.”
More to come..
