Coming soon: Universal Studios' amusement park in India

Universal Studios is reportedly in discussions with Bharti Real Estate to establish its first Indian theme park within Bharti's upcoming 3-million-sq-ft mall near Delhi airport. The mall, slated for completion by mid-2027, will allocate 300,000 sq ft for the indoor amusement park.

From The Economic Times--talks are seemingly underway for a brand new venture from Universal Destinations & Experiences in the heart of a major Indian project that would be accompanied by a new megamall structure. The structure would be nearby the Delhi airport, as the facility in question would be 300,000 square feet for UDX to work with.

It is not clear what would be the project, if it'd be a Universal Kids or a Horror Unleashed; but it does seem they are trying to figure something out.

considering the turn around time, maybe something like the Mall of America in New Jersey that has the Nickelodeon section. Obviously higher quality though.

It could be really awesome. I experienced the KFP indoor land at USB last week and that was done really well. A whole park on that scale would really work.
